Small Absence

Today, my husband and I are driving up to my parent's place, where I'll be staying for a few months while I learn how to drive a stick so I can have a car for myself. The next few days I doubt I'll be on much, because of settling in, getting drafted into helping my mom pack things up to move north eventually, and starting the process of setting up a joint Etsy shop for the two of us. But I will be back in less than a week though probably not as often or as late as normal until I can finally re-escape my parents with my own metal steed (Husband has a six month internship. I can't come with. Ffffttt, grumpgrumpgrump.)

Driving a manual transmission is absolutely essential, I hate automatics and eventually if you get good at them, manual stick is the only way to drive. Being in full control of your vehicle's speed and power has saved my life at least once.
