Pern Craft Colors

So I was in a discussion with someone on another forum about the craft colors. We all know that it's Harper Blue and anyone who suggests otherwise will be flogged. LOL. The question that has arisen is in regards to the Healer Hall color. It has always been my understanding that the Healer Hall color is purple, but they're citing Skies of Pern as saying that in the 9th Pass the color is green. So I've come to you guys to try and clarify this for me.

I've never heard of it being anything other than purple. I haven't read Skies, so I don't really have a clue what it says, but from any of my old-school knowledge, it was purple.

Those were my thoughts exactly, and I've read Skies. It wasn't Anne's best and if you ask me, I wouldn't consider it cannon since it was rather contradictory in some places to other earlier novels. I also don't remember it being mentioned in that book. I thought I remembered clearly that in the original trilogy that Oldive wore purple. Maybe it was the Harper Hall trilogy.

I don't remember there being colors assigned to Halls. My guess would be green only because green is a traditional healing color. *shrugs*
If I can find my DLGtP book, I'll see if it mentions the Healer Hall's colors in their logo thingy...but I have to find it. I might have it packed already.

The DLGtP says that the healer hall symbol is a purple caduceus on a white field.

hmmm....well, amythests are purple and are known to have to do with healing something...it makes sense.
