Anarendor Revamp

Post by Yakima »

So, i had to design a webpage for my Basic Web class. I've learned a lot of new CSS tricks and felt like showing you the New Anarendor info page. (this is a temp location, not a final one...) I do have everything SUPER simplified for school purposes (that and I couldn't go over 20 pages...heh)

So, here is the new one.

:P CSS rocks. haha But I've always known that. :P

Looking really good! Does this mean that Anerandor's going to be kicking around more often on the radar of 'things happening in the Nexus'? :D

Lol I would like to think so...except I am now armed with Photoshop and a Wacom tablet so that means I have a bad feeling I'll be trying to redo all my templates again...ha. urg. I need to learn to use it anyway but we'll see. I think my first big project will be Falas Weyr tho...it was the first and deserves a make over (Anarendor dosn't count...it's the infomational site. lol)

And thanks Dray, Star and...Star. :P I'm very pleased with it. I've learned a few CSS tricks and figured out how to get things I always wanted to figure out to work. (like rounded corners! weeee!)

*scampers off to school* :P

Y-eesss... ... Y'know, some days I sit here and think that I should swap my name for sake of sanity between "StarFyre" and "Starburst". But then I wonder if the name would stick. I mean, I've been SF since day one around here, back when I was a wee lil bratling of like.. 12 or 13, even if I did vanish time and time again. And there's a good chance that I could change my name all I wanted, and everyone (including myself) would still call me Star/StarFyre/SF =P

Anyway, my philosophical ramblings aside... congrats on achieving a higher level of understanding of the great mysteries of webdesign. Er, no, wait, I said philosophical ramblings aside.

... Ah hell. Welcome to the insanity that is webcoding. We have shirts. And maybe cookies.

I dunno, I liked your DA name well enough! X3 I'm finally managing to transfer over from, for example, Skysong to Sushidragon, amongst other name-changes. I can be slow but I think that if I can do it, it's eminently possible for others!

Ha! I love that rounded corners thing. I was looking up some other new CSS features that have become standard and they're really cool! :D It makes life easier knowing that one can make cool pages just to the right specifications without so much repetitive code.
