So, since last November I got turned down for my unemployment insurance claim and then spent oh... seven months job hunting. Which was, you know, the most wonderful experience ever.
Finally got a job at Starbucks in June, and I just finished my manager training last week (and my store manager is talking about signing me up for the ASM training when her current ASM goes off to his new store in January).
On top of that I'm one course away from completing my Certificate in Creative Writing, which I have been working on, slowly but surely, since last January. So I'll be excited when that's done. I'm toying with the idea of doing a program they offer in Toronto which is basically a workshop in which they whip you until you complete a novel, but we'll see how masochistic I'm feeling when the time comes.
That probably means that I'll be insanely busy again in a few months, but dammit, I miss my dragons, so I'm going to do my best to actually be around for a while.
