So, I haven't been working on my dragons like I should be, but I have been arting!

I'm submitting this as a coat for the horse game I'm playing, Howrse, and thought I'd show off!

I'm quite proud of how it turned out...probably the best computer coloring job I've ever done!

Dood. o.o That is awesome. It's a GREAT coloring job. You got all the muscles in there nicely, and I think you managed to get an effect that looks a lot like the horse's fur too.

If you follow my world of zekira DA account you know I do plenty of horses.

Thank you! I just wish my dragons were this easy to shade...at least with a horse I know where all the muscles are and can look for refs if I'm confused! XD

Horses, cats, whatever - all the dragon reference you'll ever really need is already in your haaaaands.

Wow, Xalia. You've outdone yourself. That looks gorgeous!

As for how dragons work, listen to Shard! You seem to know where the muscles are in horses, so draw your dragons based off of a horse's anatomy! (Look at Ahkahna -- she loves cows, so she bases her critters after them!) Go with what you know, man!
