Post RP WINNINGS- Dray, Phoenix, and Starfyre

All right, so my RP night(/nights if this setting is interesting to anyone but me, lol) is a week or so away. Since I am setting up things a little differently, I wanted to get all this info posted ASAP. Why? Well, because I am going to try to get gifts out to you all BEFORE the RP, in the hopes that you might use whatever dragons you get in the RP itself. NOTE: It is NOT required that you use your gift in the RP. You can get a couple dragons and use one of your own Nexus characters if you want. :3

Anyway... here is loads of information to sift through. I apologize for typos and whatnot. I wanted to get this posted sooner rather than later, and I will be going through everything in the coming week... fixing whatever I can find.

The Story So Far:

The Smok first made themselves known to the Testasodo when their ships appeared on a fringe world. Reports came rushing in that the world was being attacked, but by the time that the Federation fleet arrived, mere days later, the Smok were gone. They left behind massive tracks of dead land, harvested of resources... and people. With thousands missing, and more dead, the people of the Testasodo readied themselves for trouble. But trouble took its time in coming, as several decades passed before the ships described in the reports were seen again.

When the Smok reappeared in Federation space, they came once again as aggressors. They attacked several Sevar Skai ships, and kidnapped the people operating them. The Sevar Skai took the attack as a personal insult, and they tracked the Smok ships back to the species' main fleet. At this point, the Skai engaged the Smok in war. Spread out in space as each species was, neither saw much success in their initial battles, but the Skai, unlike the Smok, had the Federation to fall back on. They called for an official declaration of war against the aggressive species.

For several months, the Testasodo government, already mired down in the old war with the Siisakoo, balked at the idea of joining into another long struggle, and it was not until the Smok directed their attention at Terra Nexu, another Federation world, that the proposition gained enough support.

The Smok war was declared by the Federation just two years prior to the present, after the kidnapping of several Terra Nexan dragons. The official Testasodo goal for the war is to return the kidnapped citizens to their families, free the Smok subject species, and to enact a cultural cleansing of the Smok species. The Sevar Skai, however, simply want the stain of the Smok to be erased from the universe forever. As the Pan Smok begin to falter under the pressure of their unexpectedly powerful enemies, the very existence of their people lies in the balance.

Where You Come In:

The end of the Smok war is in sight. The matriarchs are at eachother's throats. The Sevar Skai spies are beginning to return from their assignments, baring intelligence that may prove to be the ultimate undoing of the Smok. And the Federation is finding its hands full with the thousands of refugees coming to them from the destroyed Smok ships. It is a time of political, and in the case of the Smok allied species, cultural turmoil.

In the midst of all this chaos, the Pamiec Sta, an ancient Smok war ship, is spotted near Aanu'sil. The vessel appears crippled, but a defensive call for help goes out from the planet. The Sevar Skai are hot on the ship's tail, and have been unresponsive to Federation hail. They appear to be intent on taking the Pamiec Sta out, and even as Aanu'sil prepares to send its own onto the vessel, it is uncertain who will be friend or foe.

Your Options (You Have Lots!):
You can play as a Smok, Skala, Apidae, Sevar Skai, or your own Nexus character!

1. Smok ( http://testasodofenda.com/species/smok.html ): Intrigue abounds for the Smok. You can't trust anyone, not even your own people, because everyone is out to save their own tails in this crowd. Apidae are sure-fire allies for Smok, and you can command the Apidae to protect you or stay with you. Skala may or may not be helpful, but most of them will not be aggressive towards you. Skai are outright trying to kill you, and most will show no mercy. On the other hand, you have good reason to want to do the same to them, if possible. They are, after all, responsible for the destruction of your home, and are extremely impudent for an inferior species. Nexus based characters will be a bit of an enigma to you, and you are prone to underestimating non-draconic characters.

2. Skala ( http://testasodofenda.com/species/skala.html ): Survival is number one on your list, and for the most part, you are going to be unsure of how you can accomplish this. You are most comfortable with other Skala around, and on your own, you might be prone to nervous aggression. Unlike the Smok and Apidae, however, you are open to allying yourself with the Skai or Nexus characters. Some of you may be out for revenge as the controls of the Smok are failing with their ship. After all, they work most Skala to death, and steal away those children who's scales are valuable to them.

3. Apidae ( http://testasodofenda.com/species/apidae.html ): The queens are dead or dying, and while you have saved what brood that you can, your work isn't done. The Sevar Skai are loose in the Pamiec, and they are intent on killing the Smok. Most Apidae are unquestioningly loyal to the Smok, and you are most likely one of these. Even if you are not commanded by a Smok to protect them, you will go out of your way to keep attackers away from them. If you are in an area where protection of the ship masters has failed, your second objective will be to protect the ship. Those Apidae with technical knowledge will try to make repairs, and others will physically fend off intruders. As angry as you are about this whole situation, the loss of your queen and many of your sisters is a heavy burden on you. Negative interactions with the Smok may cause you to question your place. Attackers will be wary of you, but not unwilling to ally themselves if you offer.

4. Sevar Skai ( http://testasodofenda.com/species/skai.html ): You are here for revenge. The blood of your people is sacred and the Smok have defiled it, as well as the peace that your people have lived in for centuries. Only by cleansing the universe of the Smok, will the wrongs against your people be made right. You will work most closely with other Skai, and may work with Nexus characters if you meet them. Unlike characters working directly for the Federation, you will not offer Smok any ultimatums. You are there to kill them, no matter the consequences. You generally assume that Apidae must be killed as well, simply due to their undying loyalty, but you are willing to work with any Skala that might be helpful. You may have relatives or friends being held on this ship, and besides them, your main objective is to get to one of the engine rooms, where you can force the ship to self-destruct.

5. Nexus Character: You've been called in by Aanu'sil and the Federation to help in the dismantling of the Pamiec Sta, without unnecessary loss of subject species lives, or Smok... if possible. With the help of your companions, as well as any friendly Sevar Skai that you meet, you will navigate through the ship with the hopes of either finding the Apidae queens, or the central Skala herd. Finding and helping the Skala will be fairly easy, as the species is not unfriendly towards outsiders. To save the Apidae, however, you are going to have to fight your way through them, find a living queen, and convince her that it is time to free her people from the Smok. Of course, the greatest challenge of all will be getting any Smok out of the ship alive, as adult Smok won't ally themselves with inferior beings, even when their life is on the line, and the Sevar Skai would rather see all the Smok dead, than let any off the failing ship. Your best chance here is to go after any younglings that you can.

Getting Ready for the RP:
So, I have gifts to give out for people that want to be involved in my RP, but unlike the RPs up till this point, I am going to give out my gifts before hand. Below, I will be posting finished templates that I owe active people for these species (all the way back from the monthly giveaways), but you may request a new character from any of the Skai breeds (except for Breed 1), or any of the species that are going to be involved. It would be my hope that you would use these gifts in the RP, but you won't be required to if you request some. Limit per person- two dragons.

I think I already have one of those species (the same as Dray's) but I also seem to have (in searching for his/her image I found these two) two dragons that appear to be drawn by you (it's wonderful when people have styles that set them apart. lol)

Carvasoon: Baaldra was the only information I have for him. He was from the April '05 Dragon Exchange.

Sakai (name I picked, I thinkies, not sure): Not sure where this one came from and I haven't got to paging him/her. Any information I would love.

Now, to find the missing picture...really should take a day...er...week out to organize my computer. >.<

So, I just realized that I forgot to ask you guys which subtype you wanted from the species. Oops.

So, Dray, and Pheonix you can snag a drone, guard, or forager for the Apidae, and a Breed 2 or 15 for the Skai. When you get the chance, let me know which kind(s) you'd like to get. :3

Also, Dray, of course you can use Delta! You can use whoever you'd like.
^ ^ Maybe she will run into some old friends/relatives while she is there.

Also, I should mention that you guys don't have to page these new dragons to use them, since I have all their species info and what not.

Yakima, I never wrote any real info for that first guy... though I do want to remake that template now. Lol. But the second dragon that you have there is an early rendition of a Testasodo Hyre ( http://www.testasodofenda.com/species/hyre.html ).

Lastly, is there another Skai breed that you'd like? Cause I wasn't really planning on giving out any more of Breed 1.

I mentioned that above, but only in passing. Sorry about that..

Also, silly question that occurred to me: do those tongue-eyes have eyelids? Because out of nowhere I got mental imagery of getting drink or food particles in my eyes and it wasn't fun. XD

Their tongues kinda fold over their eyes and provide functional eyelids while they are eating and whatnot, but they don't have eyelids the way we do. If I get the chance I should post a sketch of some of these things.

LOL okay. Do you mind if I make up some infomation then or could you point me as to what type of abiliites he may have?

Okay, well, how about Sevar Skai Breed 15, the winged wolf looking one.

Don't know what colors would be available on it, though.

Otherwise I don't need anything if you're limiting them, too. I do have three and I'm never sure if/when I am able to get into chat these days. *sigh* XD

@Yakima: You can definitely make up some info for him. As far as abilities go, I think they would just be earth and plant based. And no worries about requesting a dragon even you're not sure if you can make it to the RP, the giveaway is open to anyone.

@ Dray: I'm glad you like the Apidae; they were so fun to design. XD

I'm also sorry that I didn't participate in more. They were so much fun! We should start up the chat sessions again (and I need to figure out if I can install photoshop on my new computer so I can finish up those Yautjadragon mutts, so that I can be free and clear of debts, too. XD)

Hmm, Phe, what's your take? You have two Apidae from Ri's hive, so it would probably make more sense, IC, if she went with them. Do you have a destination in mind for them? Perhaps we can have them all migrate to a shared location!
