And can I please make a special request? If the two first choices aren't gender compatible with each other can you take the next choice in Yukinosuke's preferences that will be. It's important to the future of this pair that their dragons be opposite genders.

The blooming young couple are thrown into a state of culture-shock upon arrival at the dragonry -- the majority of people are welcoming, a far cry from the scrutinizing pairs of eyes they faced back home, and some of these individuals don't even seem to be human at all. Yukinosuke and Mariko, while marveling at the impossibility of such a thing, quickly remember that perhaps if bonding dragons isn't a dream, then non-humans could very well be real as well.

Their eggs become theirs at almost the exact same moment: Mariko's a dark purple orb and Yukinosuke's a dark red one with white spots. His is not the first one he set his eyes on and thought he might find an attachment to, but as the dragons would have it, the eggs are theirs now.

Their temporary quarters are set up; dragon eggs on pillows on the far side of the room, and finally a private space in which they feel no prying eyes or judgment from others. All they have to do now is wait.




Their eggs hatch at almost the same moment in time, too, in almost the same way that the bonds were made. Both dragonets are sunshine-yellow, Yukinosuke's bond a paler shade than Mariko's, and the couple are pleased to notice what seems to be an attachment between the little ones. When the little yellow female trips over her feet trying to reach her bond, the male gives her an encouraging nudge, helping her to her feet while barely having a grasp on using his own.

Neither of them has seen anything like this before, but they share the sentiment that the future looks about as bright as their little dragons.

A lot of yellows have popped up in clutches! All of Cerian and Sepha's kids are some form of yellow. There was a lot more variety in fur/wing colours.

Just moments after Adikan makes his bond, the dragon Wekevin Sislen-Oranato finds his among the other small batch of eggs. It radiates a welcoming warmth, beckoning the other dragon and blossoming into a realization that this is the feeling of a forming bond.



Wekevin hasn't felt this before; Adikan was his sponsor, never his bond, and this feeling is new and strange but wholly comforting. The pair's eggs hatch only a few hours apart from one another. Adikan's bond, the little gray male with bright-rainbow wings called Aegean, is the first to hatch, and Wekevin feels a twinge of jealousy at the elf being able to meet his bondmate first.

Settling down to read one of the books in their temporary quarters out of lack of anything else to do, Wekevin is a few chapters in when he senses something happening. He nearly throws his book across the room, shaking with excitement he didn't think it was possible for him to feel.

His bond escapes the shell in seconds, and curls herself around the older dragon's foreleg happily. "Mine," she says simply, her thoughts and emotions flowing into Wekevin like a river.

EDIT: I guess I should include where and what tattoos I want. LOL. Ummm can Mirai have a sound tattoo on her cheek, and I'd like Kibou to have an air tattoo on his upper arm.

I was just wondering if the two current clutches are going to be opened to people that have already adopted one egg from them. I realize that I wouldn't be able to take any more eggs from my own clutch, but I might be able to send in someone to help finish off the other clutch.

Because I got the yellow one, and is listed as grey (unnamed) on the records - above, obviously, shows that it should be the yellow one from that nest? *is confused* I hope you're okay Molly? Haven't seen you around?

So there are a couple more eggs available from one of the clutches, and I know it's been pretty dead around here, but if anybody would like to claim one they're definitely available. All I ask is that if you have any outstanding dragons that need to be paged, please page them before applying for another! (If you need images let me know -- I still have all of them.)

Shard (this is from a LONG TIME AGO but I'll answer your question anyway!) -- you're right, I did mix up Kjaru and Maroon on the records.

Maroon's bond is the pale yellow from clutch #4 (Sepha/Cerian) and Kjaru's is the gray from clutch #5 (Orresh/Ildiyant). Apologies, I will correct that!
