Hmm, awkward, Mirheth's clutch is ready to hatch, but my updates to the site don't seem to be showing up yet. It seems to be because freehostia is moving their servers today; they said it wouldn't be more than 24 hours, I think. I guess I'll try checking up on it periodically, and if it takes longer than a day or so, I'll figure out some other way to get the update out.
Darkling Dawn: Fauna Frenzy Open to candidates; flights open to males/females; rukel eggs/breedings available.
Drockh-Tallahn Castle: 3 eggs, 2 available. Females and males needed.
Sgiath Wolfkeep: 7 pups available
Sedona Weyr: 12 eggs, Deadline March 8. Chasers and a female needed.

Okay, updates seem to be working now. No guarantee just yet that it will stay that way, but let's hope so. XD Mirheth's clutch hatched, links are on the front page as usual, and there are two greens, a blue, and a bronze available for adoption. Hesperonth's on the sands with 12 eggs accepting candidates. Deadline is two weeks away. I've got one gold looking for chasers, and I could use some more females for future clutches. (If I don't get any, I'll probably move on to Yuneth's flight; S'ato's already been Weyrleader like, three years longer than M'rix was.)

*sigh* Could be a temporary thing. Try the links directly to the hatching and pickup pages?

Those are working for me. I'm hoping all of this will be sorted out by tomorrow.

Mine are up. :) I had fun with my new QUEEEEEEEN ... such a great pair of golds I have at Albion. One wants to be the queen, the other's rider is better suited to weyrwomanly duties. They have an arrangement. Now I need to get a few more bronzes and browns... and start having my own clutches. ;)

Thanks! Unfortunately, my site host's server migration is still ongoing (so much for the 24-hour limit...) so it's been difficult to update anything; once that's finished, I should be able to add all the candidates I've gotten and hatch some clutches. Though I think I'm gonna have to push back the hatching date for this one. XD

Question for you all, is Sedona showing that it has updated since the hatching of Mirheth's clutch? I tried re-uploading the records and hatching sands to reflect that Mirheth's clutch hatched and Hesperonth is on the sands, and it seems to be working to me. I still haven't gotten any word from freehostia like I was supposed to when their server stuff was finished, but if it stays updated, I'm going to try to get some more clutches out.

Probably did; I haven't gotten around to updating all the new candidates (and fliers) I've gotten since the hatching, because of all the trouble I've been having. I wanted to make sure the uploading was working properly again before getting to that. Watch for updates sometime this week. Drockh-Tallahn is first on my list, though. ^^

Sedona Weyr has been updated. There are four candidates so far for Hesperonth's clutch, and I've reset the deadline for March 8, two weeks away. There are two females on the mating board, a gold and a green, and there's a spot open for a third.

Heh, I think I questioned you about that awhile back. Since Sedona is set before the founding of Falas, I kind of assumed the winged wolves were not very wide spread yet, if present at all. I have a very few riders that have winged wolves, but those wolves actually spend most of their time at Sgiath Wolfkeep and not Sedona.

In general, I'd say the older riders would not bat an eye at them, Lord Tuan, his brother who is at the Weyr, and some other Holders would be like, "What is that unPernly creature, it's probably cursed/has some strange disease, get it away from me," and the younger riders and non-rider workers would run the gamut of reactions, depending on their backgrounds. So if you brought one to Sedona, it would definitely receive a lot of strange looks and probably some impertinent questions, but probably nothing more than that, barring a disastrous encounter with the more hidebound types. The Weyrleaders are in charge of candidates and riders, after all, and I don't think either of them would be bothered at all by a winged wolf. Not so bad a reaction that you couldn't bring one, but enough that the wolves maybe just don't want to deal with it regularly, the way I see it.
