I am trying to get a make shift website up for people to link to with information on the world that this is all taking place on. Shouldn't take me too long. After that, MORE CLUTCHES! If you have any pure breed dragons that you'd like to see bred, drop over to the Flight thread. ^ ^

A note about Arbitor since you mentioned Avyndals -- he's definitely an irregular critter. His name doesn't reflect the usual style and his pattern is unique (it's based off of the Arbitor from Halo 2 and 3!) So he's... not normal. XD

Yeah, I figured as much. Though I don't think any of the dragon's sent in have surnames... so I am not sure how I would work the modern naming pattern in.

Mash up the parent's name somehow? Or... have one of the owners of the parents create a surname? Or make one up?

I guess I could ask you guys if you want to make one up. I've come up with surnames for clutches before, but not for the parents... I wouldn't want to do that.

So... do you want to come up with a surname for Arbitor? :3

Okay... well, I'm not sure what kind of language Sil might have based the Avyndal on... but they sound lovely and fluid, so I'm sneaking words from an english->elvish dictionary!

How about 'Vanwanar'? for 'lostfire', given that he's been sort of damned by most Avyndal, and thinks that his children may wind up carrying on his poor fortunes! Also... it sounds nice. XD

I think both parent's surnames are involved, if I read Phe's post right. But the father's seems to be more important. I should see if I can get a surname for Evelia as well. ^ ^

Anyway, that name seems really fitting for Arbitor. I like it.

He is a super interesting character, by the way. I am excited to see how he and the hatchling he keeps get along.

This isn't a real update... but I thought I would post this anyway.

I got annoyed with myself for not having any website for people to link back to, besides my character database... so I revamped Aanu'sil, so that there would be some IC place for these clutches to be taking place.

The website is typical for me... so it is pretty mediocre, but there might be some interesting IC tidbits in it, for those of you that enjoy that sort of thing. I should have some species info up by the end of this week for the guys that call the planet home, and then I will get on with what you all really care about... the Avyndals! XD

LOL...I do to. I have a page started for Sentra as well as Anarendor (as you all know) but the Sentran one is obviously just for me and IC information, too, as there are no dragons on it.

I still have to color the rest... but the Avyndal clutch is now open. There are three available young for people who don't own the parents. ^ ^

Now, to entice you all, here is the image of the dragon that I am keeping.

EDIT: Does anyone know if the two tip tail is right? Looking at more recent images, like Arbitor's, it looks to me that there is a double tip, but Evelia doesn't seem to have one. Anyone know for sure?

Nope, they have curly tail tips, rather than two tails! Arbitor's is just hidden around his leg. Sorry that I forgot to mention that!

OMG, those are pretty... Wait, have I already missed out on the Darkelf dragons?

I've been meaning to send you a Candidate but my life's been busy recently and I guess I forgot. If there are still some available I'll get right on it, though.

You probably already mentioned somewhere but I couldn't find it, do these, or the Darkelves if they're still up, require storied Candidates? I could have sworn you said they do, but the site says no, so I figured I'd just be safe and ask. Thanks!

Sorry! But the Avyndals still have plenty of room. ^ ^

No storied candidates required, though if they do have a story your dragon might be a bit nicer in personality or in coloration.

Is there any way I could do the same on this clutch as I did for the darkelf dragons? Artdragon still not being up and all. (I swear, soon I'm going to actually get a webhost that doesn't do this every goddamn year. :| )
