So playing around with pairings has yielded 60 dragon images so far. XD I swear I'm just playing and not trying to get ahead *shifty eyes*

I'm still leaving auditions open, but I guess I should admit that I'm quietly colouring templates up. Would you guys mind a frenzy where only the adult images are done? I have a whole bunch of greens, blues and a smattering of browns. There are even a few bronzes and golds done right now... or at least their equivalent. No sport-sized dragons, but I have each image sized to the appropriate size for each colour (for example, some of the tiny!golds have offspring that are a size or two down from their normal versions, though the greens are still green-sized because 500pix max seems like a good place to stop sizing down. XD)

So, yeah! You can still keep sending in auditions, but I've solidified some pairings already! Delyar, I'll pass the pairings on to you once I'm done one or two more colour-ups. :D

Heh...I've actually never made Flynnth's offspring small unless they were runts. Maybe small for there size-color range, but not her size. Soliath's genese always dominate over hers. XD But that's just me.

Can't wait to see what's coming out of this...

XD Exactly my consideration... I just realized that, having coloured all of these adults, I'd have to go back in and guess the colours for the babies! D'oh!

Yeah that's why I always have all three (or however many) stages of anything (ferilons, dragons, horses) open at once. That way I do all the fills with the same colors at the same time, and just move between the images until they're all done.

Now I wish I'd let the Darkelf frills come through more. They're spiffy and with Sherra's pages gone (thanks A-O-Hell) I don't know if we have any more Darkelf dragons in the Nexus. *sigh*

(and god only knows if the Darkelf owner is saving her pages or not. I sent her an email this morning...)

So there are a couple of Geperna coming from Starfyre, and maybe some Moireans from Keilin Alyr?

Was anyone else thinking of submitting participants? I'm starting to get close to solidifying pairings and I don't want to limit latecomers by pairing all of the early-comers already!

I have two Darkelf dragons, actually, a male and a female, if I'm remembering correctly. (I am, a Moonlight female and a Nightmare male). I just never knew what the thoughts were about Darkelfs in the Nexus.

(So, I apparently slept 12 full hours, missing both of my classes for today. I don't know whether to be happy or annoyed about that. In other news, I'm going to use this alone-time I now have my hands on to put the Geperna up properly.)

Ooh, lots of lovely dragons. I'm not sure that I'll use your Moirean fella, though if you have PB links to his siblings with examples of their colour-naming, I might be able to better figure out how to cobble together offspring colour-titles. X3

The Calyeni naming system sounds a lot like the Geperna or Drak systems! It's neat that they're linked up like that!

That's the lot of 'em. As I said, I'll get their actual, new, updated pages done as soon as I can, but this weekend is actually more driving than anything because of having to go 7 hours north to a 50th wedding anniversary for my fiance's grandparents. That, and I managed to break my entire candidate directory by making some changes to CSS files and uploading them (no backups, silly me) without checking how old pages read the changes. So I've been trying to fix that, but... yeah. Lotsa pages. And the "quick fix" (ie, change the CSS files back) isn't really possible, because I've forgotten what I changed, exactly, because I no longer remember my assumptions. Grwar. That, and the assumptions were stupid (based on the page-breakage), so everything needs to be changed anyway. And I'm rambling now. Too much driving...

Also, I think I might understand how the original Backwards Frenzy got so huge. Lots of lovely dragons, lots of lovely potential pairs, I'd have trouble choosing.

As for Gwalchaved and siblings (which it's definitely okay if you can't fit him in, I suppose I ended up only adding to the rising onslaught of options XD) I guess I'll just consolidate them in this thread.

I remember back when I did my Fall Frenzy ages ago, Felinruad was sent in. I ended up calling him "Pretty Felinruad" in all my notes cause the colour was just too long to write out. :P
