Though I'm sure you meant the original five colors.

I don't plan on changing these anytime soon. (of course I said that with the last adults...*facepalm*). I think I have the proportions right this time.

On the topic of your dragon images, Yakima, I have to say that my all-time favourite image set of yours was the original Falas Weyr set.

I was lucky enough to snag a couple of those, including Emynth. <3 The hatchling stage of that image set was teh cuteness.

And then Weyr Eriol had those images for a while, but then its creator disappeared off the face of the earth... ;_;

I know! And right in the middle/end of the backwards frenzy, too. I was sad. ;.;

My favorite so far has been the last set. But these are really cool too.

But, I just <3 Falas in general because it's one of the last places I can get traditional Pernese dragons. And I have to get my Pern fix somehow. Play by e-mail's just aren't cutting it anymore.

It's not the only place. I ran a clutch of pure Pernese dragons a little while back, and would do the same again if the right riser (and chasers) came along. It gave me a nice opportunity to play around with the Pernese colours. I used to have one image for each colour ("back in the day", lol) but for that clutch I coloured every single image uniquely and they all turned out amazingly.

Starburst isn't a Weyr anymore, of course, but yeah. I will do pure Old-World clutches if I have the right dragons come and breed.

My shading has improved, though, and I like the style I use now with the dark border and such. Shrinking those was a pain because of the halo that always apeared. I'm surpised you like that set. I remember asking my art teacher in high school for some input on it because I was struggling with making it look right. I can see some things about it that are off. I'm sure my current adult has something wrong with it, too, but I love the pose - regal and noble... I don't care about there short memory or anything because I would rather have a dragon that forgets things then has the ability to throw magic at me if he/she is mad. LOL *pats Phalinth's head* And technically, I do. Of course, you read my bios for my dragons (not up yet...still working on them...) and you'll see that most of the time my Pernese dragons remember things when they probably should be forgetting them. LOL

As for sets, I kept the hatchling and weyrling from the previous 'set' so that is the same. I just started to shrink my images after coloring them so they're only smaller. But it's the same image - give or take the bosted shading.

I just changed the adult 'cause there was something wrong with the neck and shoulders. *shrug*

If the Eriol person is gone, I might use Falas' current images for the images I'm missing from them. I can probably do the same for other people if they are missing images. I know I have a BIG handful of missing images from that Backward thing...*sigh and wonders if she even HAS that old set laying around...I wonder*

I wonder if the Weyr should run its traditional frenzy, still. I still have all the info for it...

I will have to change the beginning story but I think it would be quite fun. Small dragons and probably only Pernese candidates or something to continue the 'traditional' part of the Frenzy. I'll do a vote thing later, after the All-Earth Clutch...

I had so many cool dragons from there that simply ceased to exist. I was sad because I was sure I'd have to either kill them or spend years requesting them from the dragon exchange. XD

I loved all of it.

I really didn't see anything wrong with the pose or color.
But then, I think most people see flaw in their own artwork that other people don't.

Trust me, the Traditional Frenzy wouldn't be run until I get out from under my stack of updates. Now that the Shimmer Frenzy isn't looming over my head, I have clearer mind to work on stuff. I'm doing my Falasian people first. Though, I keep finding more people, wolves, or dragons that need to go into this directory. URG!

At least people will have links for peidgrees...eventually.

Ak, bah, too much traditionals. J'adore traditional, but I think I've been overexposed to them-- only in short ammounts, and i like teh change.

that said, i might dig up a pernese character of five to send to a traditional frenzy. ._. I've got one that didn't get accepted into a MOO, who could use a blue, and the rest that could just use draggies in general... <3

But now, to now-things. :3 Yakima, what's the info on the two clutches on your sands? I'm looking around, but i can't find much. I think it's cuz i'm lisening tomusic, which always blocks my ability to think for hours, but yeah. What species, plain pernese? And do they accept sponsors, or shall i just toss you a bundle of bonders? and if htat is, indeed, the case, would you prefer those bonders to be already unbonded, or do your dragons not mind shacking up with a homie or two? :3

Okay...both clutches are Pernese. However, the second clutch has two Flurry parents. The first clutch are two-tones and the second will have flurry markings and colors based on parents' lineage. Both of these clutches are unaltered and retain natural genetics. The FGPC people are not going to tinker with these eggs. That said, I am not allowing sponsers as they need to Impress and since the clutches are small, you can only put one to two candidates in the clutches so that others have a chance. They must be unbonded. The FGPC may be more leniant then the Weyr but only under certian cercumstances, such as the Shimmer Frenzy, am I going to allow the double-impression and sponsering.

I think I need to redo the rules for the FGPC...heh...they're a little scant on information, I just noticed. They're not very up to date, either.

That's pretty tied well with what i was thinking-- i typically send two candidates to all clutches, one to bond, and one to sponsor, and naturally less for clutches that don't sponsor. I'll get them to you later.

If they impress at your place, may they bond elsewhere as well, later on? Or does that still count as double bonding. -has a thing for bond-webs and such connections- and would you be cool with me just sending you a story first, and hten putting them on stats-pages afterward the clutches hatch?
