I have a few candidates being written up but I'm out of action until commencement which is in two-three weeks. :<

Well, this clutch is closed. I'll hatch is it soon...I don't know if there will be another clutch so I guess if people express interest then we'll see.

I had your two and an uncomplete gold candidate...

I honestly don't know how long any of my sites are going to stay up. I don't like deadlines and begging for candidates and if people don't have the time for "traditional" candidate method, then I might as well close. If anything, for now. *shrug* This includes Falas and the FGPC as well as Dark Moon. I don't want to "force" people to send me candidates. I know there is plenty of interest but there are things going on for me that makes my interest wane. I love writing candidates but can't do the simple "green fillers" anymore. I get to into the story and they end up being longer then they "should be". *shrug*

Anyway, yeah if you want to slip in a few quick, go ahead. Otherwise I'll just fill it up with NPCs...

I can do some fillers. When did you want em? They'll mainly be from my generators, anyway, but I always love making them. Plus I always love getting yakimadragons.

Against all odds though, I guess, given my past track record, but I was honestly hoping I could hammer out a candidate story in time. I did adore the old Dark Moon images and I do like your re-interpretation of them.

Instead of closing your agencies, why not extend the clutch deadline, relax deadlines and timelines when participation is quiet? The Nexus hasn't seen a lot of heavy traffic in recent memory, but it does give more time for people to review the forum and find time and express interest.

That, and the more sites that close, the fewer people end up returning. =\

I understand that, Keilin, but I have my own issues that have been keeping me from the Nexus stuff, too. I am/was trying to get Dark Moon, Falas and the FGPC set up so I didn't have to do new images. The Of Elves and Magic thing was probably going to be my last endeavor into a clutch like that. So it's not just the rest of you. Truthfully, I'm starting to get scared because I'm pretty sure my mom and step dad will be filing for divorce or something or things are really going to get bad. And it sucks because the one person I want to "run" to I can't for a million reasons (right or wrong, i don't know).

Truthfully, I will probably lurk unless RL drags me away fully. I would LOVE to actually get everything pages, organized and such. I had alot of planned events for Falas. I was even, no offense to Ty, but was going to have Yenna Impress a gold at Dark Moon and go forward so that I can get that plot going. And it would be an interesting twist, too. I had "big" plans for the FGPC, too, like a change of Weyrleadership and everything. Truthfully, my hold up is Yenna Impressing and I don't want to do it this way but I'm sick of sitting on my hands with an unfinished plot.

I'm going to hatch this and get it out of the way. I bet you'll all laugh at the results anyway, being a green-blue pairing but, it's what the dice gave me. XD Then I'll go in to lurk mode/hiatus mode which should make me feel less rushed to get thing page and information up. This goes for Treval, too. I want all my characters (or most of them) paged (and don't be surprised if I do a "if you want them back, please take them and give them a good home" *winces*.) I also want to focus on other things in life/real life as that guy I was ranting about in frustration a month or so ago is something I want to "focus" on. Also getting a new job and such.

So it's not just the lack of candidates and such, Keilin. But it is part of it. I just didn't want to explain everything. >.<

Okay, so I'm not up to hatching this just yet so is another 3-4 weeks okay for the rest of you? I would just like to hatch this before the county fair which is Aug 4-8 or within there.

Shard, you can send you fillers in if you want and, if there are still spots left, I'll slip them in. If not, i can save them for another clutch.

Which brings me to another idea: Filler Candidate List. What if I put up a list where you send in stat-characters for fillers. No story required but you'll be getting the "lowest ranking" dragons, like blues and greens. If you like that idea, I can use it at Falas, too.

Actually working on two candidates as we speak. We've just been putting a lot of work on our new house (originally a foreclosure) before we close, so that's been taking priority over writing, sadly.

Also, out of curiosity, are you restricting rising females for DMW to golds and greens, or would you accept whites and other colors?

I accept anything as long as I get a code with it. Which reminds me, I should update the genetic code page with the new little tweaks the FGPC uses....But yeah, as long as I have a code I don't care the color, actually. But nothing too wild; solid colors with the "natural rares" being favored (white, black, cream, copper and silver). XD

Clutch will be at 2 pm (Minnesota time) tomarrow. Remeber, stat fillers are welcome and with the genetics thing, you may be able to get a "higher ranking" dragon with just stats. Depends on the candidates.

Kielin has a reserve in so I'm waiting for her. Then I hatch. Then DMW sleeps a bit while I recuperate...

Those that didn't Impress will go on for the next round. The two gold candidates need to tell me if they want to stay in for the gold or if they want to stand on the regular sands. There will be no queen egg when I get to the next one. (which I might run soon anyway)

Interesting assortment of colors from a green mother and blue father. Congrats to the new riders. =)

I think that I'm going to withdraw my two candidates from the future clutch though. The delayed closing and everything else relating to the house is proving really stressful, and I really ought to be focusing on transferring and reworking my Geocities pages before October, not acquiring new ones.

That, and well, those two candidates I sent you were pretty terrible. Even by my standards. *chuckles*

Yeah, you should have seen clutch 7 before I took a hand and pulled out the two resulting golds and replaced them. I think I'm going to have to pull strings on some matters when it comes to bronzes and golds later. Like, the better the flights (or story if it's someone eles dragons) the higher chance of bronzes and golds.

That's fine Keilin. I'm sorry I couldn't give you anything this round. But all I had were greens and bronzes. Urg...

And yes, Shard, I will change the link. I think I must have forgotten to do that before hand. Heh...

I'm sorry to hear that things are stressful for you right now.

If you ever need to vent/rant to a willing listener, I'm always happy to oblige! Heh, that's pretty much all I can do.

I love the Filler Candidate list idea, and understand completely if you need a break from the sites (don't we all, sometimes?). If it helps at all, I'd be more than happy to make a bunch of Candidates for next clutches or others that need them. Filler stat pages if you want them fast, or ones with a little story if you want those.

I'm still very much into the Pernese Weyrs and always sorry to see them go (not many left anymore now, I think!)

Well, to pass the time, I have two flights on the boards! One is mine (I have a small plot...well, more like I have some riders I found that just dosn't seem right that they just /vanished/ even if they were never mentioned...blame my pet project with the clutches and records...

) and she is white Salenth. She's from the same clutch as Niayith and Zenith. All those riders that were never mentioned before will be coming to Dark Moon - why, haven't figured out a plot there but I will.

The other is from Erinnyes! Gold Jaerialoth (who's rider is male...she didn't specify if he prefers male or females. XD) hatched from Dragon Soul Weyr.

Both are open for applications. I take seven per flight.

Oh, woops, sorry about that! Jaerialoth's rider will go with either, but not looking for a commitment. Mostly I'll be choosing based on interesting genetics, anyway.
