I put my eggie up, it's been there a while... sitting there languishing. colorfully.

So if I understand this clutch, .... if you want a themed easter item, you use the theme and go with it, but don't get a hatching.... and... if you want a hatching (story? I guess?) and a more normal item, you get whisked away to the Valley...?

*laff* Um, no.. more like, if you want your character to end up at the Valley, you don't mind the theme. If you write a themed story, you get an Easter!themed egg, whether or not you actually write your char going to the VotS (and they can just find the egg somewhere, or have it find them).

*rewords* Easter-themed stories get Easter-themed eggs/hatchlings dropped in their laps. Non-themed clutches just end up at the Valley for a 'normal' hatching.

Does that explain it better? ^.^;;;

So easter themed stories get easter themed dragons, and non-easter-themed stories get non-eastery dragons, whose only resemblance to easter at all is the half-bunny-bits? Or are ALL of the dragons eastery, and location is the only difference?

You're more likely to get an easter-themed dragon with an easter-themed story/layout. Doing the theme means you get your dragon as an easter egg first, rather than right away as a hatchling. It's like this because half of this is due to easter. The other half is due to Uny's birthday, which is not easter at all. ^^;;
