Well it's possible that the one from Dragonsoul came after I printed out those records. These are from a set of printed out copies that I made at LEAST 6 years ago, probably closer to 8, since they're on paper that I had only when I was living on Ganesta and I've been here in my mom's house for what 7 years or more now. There are probably other clutches that I didn't get on at least one or two of the ones I have printed.

And darnit I completely lost two riders that impressed at Aden long ago, Vollimar and Wenn, and I had thought I'd printed them out (since they were among the same pages that I had put up those adopted from Dragonsoul) but after looking around at least in 2 boxes worth of stuff yesterday I didn't find em, but I did find *several empty folders* in a box with what used to be those records. FAH! I know they were good candidates at least a fun pair to write, but I have NO idea what their page was like any more. T__T

Regarding the Cincanta clutch, I say go for it. I had a couple dragons in that clutch and it wouldn't bother me to have it sorted out, even though I don't particularly follow the genealogies of my dragons.

Okay, just to let you know what I would /like/ to do with this collection of data:

Searchable so you can find single dragons
Pedigrees? Somehow use PHP to create a pedigree table from the database for a searched/selected dragon. Have NO idea how to do this. But, yeah, I can dream, right? XD

I think that's all that's needed, right? Unless you all have other ideas? XD

For the pedigrees, it would be tedious but not terrible. I've begun the process with some of my guys. The worst part is including the siblings, if you choose to do so, but having entries for Mom, Dad, and Grandparents and Great-grandparents isn't too bad.

that's okay, Starfyre...I might not use colors if it's going to cause problems. mostly because I would rather tell it to change every word on the page to one color so a gold and a green-gold would both be colored without me having to do a line for gold and for green-gold. *shrugs* But, color isn't too terribly important. It just makes looking over records a bit easier at times.

Anyone willing to help with this...somehow? *shrugs* I've been trying to get figure out the backbone of the code that a friend of mine did but I never got the finishes one, and he hasn't been online much. I would also love input on what YOU all want from it, expecially if you want to turn it from Weyr Archives, to NEXUS arvhives. Which is possible.

I also need to figure out the Search part... Pedigree/Info page, I think, will be enough of a challange for me. So yeah, I'm sooooo open for help and ideas as to what info you people need/want. *nods* I'm sure anything we think up, PHP can do...it's just getting it done. LOL

(also, if you have records you want to add and have time to stick them in a spreadsheet, feel free. I have over 1K dragons in the database so far and that's mostly just Falas 10 and 11, Dark Moon Weyr and WeyrHold, the FGPC, and a few others. *blinks* Yeah...long list. lol And will probably get bigger. If anyone has printed records, perhaps if you scan them or something and send them i can put them in? *shrugs* I have gaps in Dark Moon and missing all of the original Dawn Sister's Weyr. Just a thought that passed through my mind.

Anyone know how to make this Searchable? I have over 3K dragons listed and I'm sure their are others who want to help me give it a test run.

*pokes this* In case anyone needs it, this does (in a way) work. You can use the browser's Search feature to find a dragon. The info page gives you some information about the dragon so you can try to trace them.

If anything, I hope it helps. The first page is very, very LONG so, yeah...be pacient.

I miss Middle Weyr a lot, I'll admit. The owner was a lot of fun, and the candidates I wrote for her were some of my favorites.

Also, I double and triple-checked my sources back in the day, and I'm pretty sure these parents are right for Sapphire. I wish I had the corresponding notes for #1 and #2, but all I have is a notepad snippet.

Clutch #1: Gold Halith and Bronze Fellenth (I'm pretty sure Fellenth was the father)

Some mentions of Rith may call her a green-gold. She's a green from Glass Island Weyr's 2nd clutch, and her image wasn't dual-tone. She might have been tinged with gold in the hatching story, but don't quote me on that. I've always called her green.

The archives are nice enough (though it does make my browser a bit grumpy), but I'd love to have a browsable search by Weyr (like the old archive site?) alongside the individual dragons as it is now, since typos are so easily made and I tend to look for clutches. =)

Yay! Thanks for those parents. *throws confetti on Keilin* And I'll add middle Weyr. I still have the Backward Frenzy and Ryslen do to. Maybe we can get other non-Pern sites up there, too, though people might have to start compiling there own spreadsheets for me if we do that. >.<

I WANT this search-able, really. But I don't know how to set up a PHP based Search thing. If anyone knows how to do that, I would really, really, really appreciate the help (would bribe with dragons but I think many of us have lots to page or reorganize with geocities down).

OK, confused at the moment, what's all needed here? I believe I still have all the records for Seiryuu Weyr, I'd just have to look through my external hard drive.... sadly still don't know if I'll ever get it back up again on another site, haven't had the urge to look for good free websites lately.

I sadly didn't save all of my personas for Seiryuu and I think everything I had for the new version of Cincanta that I never got going I think I lost the stats pages ?*wonders how up to date her riders list had been and goes to poke around for "a few minutes" before heading to bed for the night*

Just the clutch records, Quachir. XD I have Cincanta's records so I don't need them. If you have any, by any chance, records from any other Weyr that I'm missing, you can let me know. I hope to expand this to non-Pernese places, too, though I'm afraid this may start taking up a lot of space on my domain which will cut down on my own space for my own stuff. We'll see. May have to move it somewhere eventually.
