Yay! I can do line-arts for it now X3
If you want to add the usual flight/telepathy/teleportation/firebreath you can. I can't remember if I gave them any other abilities, other than giving a few verbal speech or size shifting.

Updated a good deal at Holic. Most noticeable changes can be found listed on the main page of the site, such as the fact that Axnea has chosen his partner and their clutch is on the sands.

Of course Dray. From now on, I'm going to make sure to keep note of a reserve for each of the parent-dragon's owners. People can request reserves as well, but in the event of the deadline drawing close, reserves will be dropped for finished candidates. Except for the parents. They can refuse their reserve of course, but i know when one of my dragons has babies elsewhere, I always want one of the kiddies.

You missed part of the wing there =P I don't think there's supposed to be a hole in the middle of the outline there.

Actually, looking at the template again, either way could potentially work ^^;; Such a difference between seeing the outline and just the silhouette.

Ok, so either people have been waaay busy, or Axnea's clutch slipped everyone's minds. Or there is just no interest. Eitherrr way, I'll be finishing up the template in the next week or two, and letting Dray and Starfyre have a pick of the litter, and then I'll either raffle the others off, or keep them all myself. I'm not sure.

I reckon after this clutch, I might as well start running them on the Give-Aways board. Seems the easiest way these days.

There are still a few flights going on, and a clutch at Stardust Weyr.

I've also noticed some of the links acting strange in IE so I'll try and fix those in the next few days as well.

-waddles in-

I've been smacked with work after the holidays so I've only been lurking these days but I'm free next week. I've been eyeballing this clutch since you put up the preview and I have a candidate plus a few more for the one at Stardust. Those will be out then. :V

Gar, me too. My net has been extremely hard to reach lately so hopefully I'll be able to be on long enough to remind myself who I'd written (as I'm almost positive I had someone set up but not linked yet). WANT. do want.

I think these days it's "good practice" to poke every-so-often, especially around holidays or "big events" (*cough*finals*coughhackweeze*=P). We've all mostly grown up into forgetful sorts.

Must be Shard's influence. I knew there was a reason people in my age-range were supposed to avoid geezers, but, obviously, forgot. =P (ShardIluvyoupleasedon'thitmewiththeweyrgeezerstick!)

.. I'm going to go get food now. Lack of noms and too much dust/nostalgia doesn't make for normal StarFyre.

(For the record, does anyone know a good, safe way to pack delicate clay sculptures? I don't have any individual-size boxes on hand, though I'm thinking about shopping around for some...)

*SNERK*

I'd hunt for small close-fitting boxes which you can fill with both peanuts and bubblewrap. Wrap individual areas if need be, there's that ... foamy material paper stuff? It's not paper, it's... like soft wrappingish stuff. Can be taped down, and that protects things pretty well.

I want to send you a few for Taureth's clutch, honestly Cy...even if they're just stats (needs green/blue anyway), you'll get something from me. :P

Even stats pages are fine at the moment, since there aren't any X3

I'll give people a bit longer. I'll set up a deadline after I'm done house sitting, and then whoever gets in, gets in, and whatever's left... isss miiine *instert evil laughter here*

I figured I should have bumped the board a few times, but I didn't want to, like, spam the heck out of everyone X3

I has interest!

I will try and send you some Candidates tomorrow... If not tomorrow, then the next day. :) They may only be stats-sheet pages, but as long as you don't mind those. One of these days I'll find the time and inspiration to write stories again, but I'm pretty much burned out on writing Candistories, not to mention they take me forever since I'm a slow typer.

*facepalm*

I've been relatively quiet on the forums because I've been spending the last few weeks doing a majorrrr overhaul to, well, all my sites. The changes aren't online yet because I wanted to make sure I was absolutely done with everything before it went up.

Alas, my laptop is no longer with me. The good news is, all my files are backed up on discs. The better news is that I should have my laptop back in a few weeks.

A Microsoft update went out, and my laptop installed it, and unfortunately, it undid all the previous work I'd done on it to prevent the USB-Blue Screen error.

So I packed up my laptop and my USB devices, and took it to a DIFFERENT Best Buy. This time they were actually helpful, and took it in to take a look at it. They said if it was a software problem, they'd have it fixed and back to me in a few days, but if they couldn't figure out the cause of it, they'd have to ship it off to headquarters and let them look at it. And most likely it would have to be sent back to Dell and refurbished and then returned to me.

I did buy the service plan for it, so luckily I'm not being charged for any of this. But I did file a complaint with them on the other Best Buy location who told me nothing was wrong with my laptop and refused to help me.

So yeeesss. Whenever I get it back, things will be back underway. And hopefully I will stop hitting roadblocks in getting things finished around the Castello.

I apologize for any inconvenience X3 But hey, it gives anyone wanting to more time to work on any candidates they wanted to submit.

Best Buy generally is neither ;)

Were you certain to ask for your own hard drive back? Because sometimes they just swap them out entirely.

Myself, my net has been *extremely* on and off, so i haven't had the ability to upload much. :( but I can't wait to see what the new Holic will be like :D

It doesn't matter to me, really. I have all the files I need and such. As long as the laptop stops blue screening every time I hook a USB device to it, that is all I care about.

Just an update to say that I do have all my sites back up and online. Character pages are not finished yet, but should be when I get some time. I'm just waiting to get my laptop back to be able to work on them again.

You might notice that now when you go to http://planet-holic.lostmysanity.net/ instead of being actual Planet Holic, it's now a general site for the graphics and such I make when I'm not dragoning. But as soon as the site loads, there are links on the main page to all three of my sites.

I'm hoping I can get everything in gear soon. I have line-arts and everything saved, and I have now traded a red-ringing XBox for a Bamboo pad, I just need to order a pen for it. Which shouldn't take too long.

Sooo. Yes. Slightly pointless but somewhat informative update. There isn't any need to change links, since the main site still links to all the subsites.
And once I'm done adding the character pages, the new url for them will just have /character/"so and so".htm instead of the original url.

Sorry I change everything around so much ^_^' but it won't be changed annnyyyymore until I get my own site and stop mooching off DF. Promise.

Yay! And the layouts turned out cool. XD I think I like the Zalor on the best. lol

I wanted to drop in and say I have two candidates picked out for you - Sebenik and Salinta (two of my weyrbrats...I really need to start doing stuff with the rest of them. :P) I'm working on stories right now. Don't need/want anything special (just blue/green or green/green). But I have someone coming! Can't miss out on my favorite AEC green's clutch, now can I! lol

Thanks Yakima :] It wasn't until I really started playing around with your codes that I realized I remembered most of it from making my chomeless windows sites wayyy back in the day. I think I even used one of them for dragoning, a little Rainbow Bright one. So thanks again for letting me play around with them :]

To everyone else, I got my laptop back Friday. Turns out it had a defective motherboard. Woohoo. But it was replaced, and I'm working on re-installing everything and getting things sorted. So I should be able to get back on finishing my give-away and finishing up the character pages for the sites.

Take your time making candidates, but once I do get things settled, I won't be pushing the date back anymore.
