Briski's clutches have no deadlines until I have the images scanned in, inked, and shaded. That helps to assure that I can abide by my deadlines when they're posted.

Sorry about that, Shard ^.^;; updated the candidate lists.

While I said that today was the last day, I'll permit this to go one day over, because I just realized today is Friday, and I have no time to do anything tomorrow because I'm gaming the entire day ^_^;; (oops, my bad on the schedualing. Completely my fault there =P)

So, a small extension due to StarFyre goofing on what day it was! >.>;;

Oh! And if you sent a candidate and don't see your candidate's name on any of the lists, poke me here in the thread. It's entirely possible that I missed some things because of general disorganization.

Got all of them, and I've got most of the dragons finished.

Unfortunately, this is the week before spring break, and we all know what that means for school work! Yuck...

That, and I've apparently got food poisoning now...

...

yeah, I'm having a grand time.

In any case, these will go out as soon as I'm not so much at the mercy of the whims of my teachers. Which will be sometime after Wednesday (I have a test today, a test tomorrow, and a loooooot of reviewing to do before both.)

So if anyone rreeaalllyy wants in, toss me a candidate sometime before I come back on and say, "Yeah, I'm free now. Yay."

First off, sorry that this took so long. The images and everything have actually been done for over a month, I was just trying to find time for a story... but, almost a month later, I still don't have time or anything written that I like, so I decided to just hand the images out.

If anyone wants the information -- IC-ly, the Feather tattoo is drawn by and tattooed by Lesara A'vredon. The other tattoo is drawn by and tattooed by Tirval A'vredon. They did this in the antechamber of Tirval's lab, which is a fairly large room, decorated with wall hangings that illustrate the myths of various worlds and peoples, with comfortable padded chairs upholstered in a deep, vibrant, fire red. There are two benches (more like sofas, but Tirval still calls them benches), one along the west wall, one along the east wall (with the entrance to the Lab on the south wall, and the exit to the hallway of the Clan on the north), both upholstered the same as the chairs and with pillows scattered across them. Both benches are over 7 feet long, perfect napping places for the tall siblings when they end up working late and need to catch a quick nap. There's a solid wood table that most of the chairs are clustered around, as well, and two much smaller side-tables next to two other chairs that are 'hidden away' in a corner of the room near the lab entrance. Even with all this, the room is still large enough to fit a dragon or two.

And an interesting piece of plot-point that I was going to include, that the rest of you can choose to include in stories or not is this.

The door to the lab started to quiver slightly, then crept slowly open. The candidates who were waiting to be tattooed (and those who had already been so, and who were sitting at the table, where an array of finger foods had been placed for those who wished it) leaned over, curious as to what was going on.

Slowly, so very slowly, one of the door flaps was pushed open, a crystalline muzzle peeking through the widening crack. Clear enough to see through, like the finest diamond imaginable, yet faintly tinted with an opaline wash, the crystalline muzzle caught and reflected the light of the antechamber, as the hatchling pushed further through the door. Large, brilliant fire-opal eyes were revealed next, followed by the faintest hint of a crest reminiscent of a Myrsilkain’s crest.

“Papa?” the hatchling’s voice was soft, sweet. “Papa… I’m hungry…”

Tirval carefully put the finishing touches on Brand’s tattoo, then straightened. “Go back inside, little one. Remember what I told you?”

“O-oh… sorry…” The hatchling looked abashed, ducking her head, “Sorry Papa.”

Setting his tools down, Tirval glanced over the candidates, then shook his head. “No harm done, I suppose. I’m coming.”

With that, he strode across the antechamber and pulled the door open, his body blocking the candidates’ view of the rest of the hatchling as he waited for it to back up and head back into the lab. Casting a final glance over his shoulder, Tirval retreated to his lab, closing the door quietly behind him.

Lesara sighed, gesturing for the next candidate to come forward to be tattooed. “Don’t mind him. He’s caught up in a new project. Nothing to be babbling about across the Nexiian worlds.”

*grins* If you want to do anything with that, I am perfectly willing. Tirval has a tendency to overdo it on the "secrecy" sometimes (thus making it transparently obvious that he's up to something), especially when a project is showing promise.

Lesara is much more close-mouthed and secretive, and often tries to cover for her brother (hence the "nothing to see here, move along" style to her comment at the end)... not that it works most of the time, because Tirval gives himself away so often and in so many ways.

Alright! Blanket statement first --

I need links for the Tattoo dragons (minus Shard, because I know you asked for a specific case scenario -- that's perfectly fine, and will remain so.) in the next Two Weeks!

Or a viable excuse. I know what MY life has looked like recently. Just post a tiny little thing, like "life eating me, zomg!" and I'll be like "Kay, run away faster =P"

In other news! This weekend I'm going to finish the half-completed images for the last two of Briski's clutches. Next week, I'm going to outline and prep.

Get candidates to me by the end of this month. I fully intend to have a full hatching story with this one, too! I think it's been too long since we've had one of those here on the Nexus.
