If you catch me on AIM (thecrazytiger) please send me a quick note and remind me your name on there. It has been so long since I used that chat medium, I'm staring blankly at my list and not knowing who's actually there. >.<

Dark as a bonder/sponsor? Or just as a visiting troublemaker?

*knows how most of us would answer that one* *snicker*

Any candidate number limits? I know you don't want more than a couple in one group, but per separate for full total? I am enjoying writing teh elves.

I don't see any reason to impose limits on total number, considering how most of the writing muses seem to have gone on strike with the Writers...

Just be aware that (depending on how things go) people who sent a -lot- of bonders might have some left standing.

I've got an idea how many eggs there will be from the '07 flight, but not sure if I know how many from '06. I'm still drawing anyway, so... yeah.

No total number limit; just keep the groups to three or less.

Yes.

Or at least as a sponser/troublemaker.

I need to redraw. XD Found that the tablet + inking = too difficult, so I need to redo the images so that their entire bodies are, you know, not chopped off at the edge of the page!

Weee flurry.

Love the flight stories!! Grand... and I have at least 2 candidates headed your way. If you remember the dancemaster Cezaris, his feline-shifter girlfriend Aureliane is headed towards you, as is possibly a vampire, though I'm not sure yet as to how that's going to work. There may be a few more, depending on how inspired I get, lol.

Myr -- I'm all for it.

Dray -- "bodies chopped off" is bad. I suspect my friend is going to have a fit if he watches me 'ink' the dragons the way I do... >.> (And I haven't found anybody else who does what I do either... just saying.)

Feline -- Yay!! And if you send a vampire, it'll work out somehow. Always seems to. :)

With MS Paint.
It's a tedious process, and I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but it's how I got a clean outline when I drew the first Ryslen dragons years ago, and that's how I'm still doing it. (God. Years!)

Someone asked me about this one time before -- I'm thinking Sherra -- so I've got examples! haha.

1- 'raw' pencil art.
Image

2- I use the curvy-line tool to re-draw all the lines. Also the pencil.
Image

3- Then I use photoshop to erase everything but the red "inked" outline, and turn that black.
Image

4- Finished

Wow! That's great that you can have patience with doing that on Paint. I don't think I have enough patience to even try it myself.

I know I don't. I've got a total of ONE picture that I've been working on (continuously for a while and then not at all for a while) which is drawing lines over pencils and then removing. It's... gah, hellish, I'll leave it to the folks who can, and stick with inking on paper and scanning :) I prefer cleanup to that. :D Honestly it seems like the only things I use the line tools for are weapons on figures that need em added.

Great job, Ty, so.... yah. Expect some elves and stuff.

Kudos to Shard for sending the first Flurry Candidates.

(I only got them today, because Y! put them in the spam folder. wtf.)

I should note that you can specify 06 or 07 as clutch preferences, in case I didn't already.

Also; I have 7/10 of the 07 dragons drawn.

Wow, small Flurry? :)

And yeah I *always* check my spam folders for just that reason. Sometimes, people that you've always gotten normal mail from just suddenly up and show in there?! I've seen it, so I always check now.

Seven of ten templates. Should've said that to start with. I'm looking at 20-30 eggs (minimum of two per mating).

I don't know what the numbers for the 06 clutches will be, since those are still in Dray's capable hands.

Okay. Firstly, you will have a bonder from me. If Amy decides to be difficult and take her story away from the Flurry, no worries, you *will* get another instead. I love the flurry, and as I believe Sherra mentioned, it's one thing I always try to unhiatis for...

Question though, 06 and 07...? Can Kiara get an explination, she's confused...

Okay, I've got a couple of candidates for you! Is it okay if I post them here instead of using the traditional form? I don't trust my email right now...

Is the topic for both the '06 and '07 Flurries, or just for the '07?

Not that I've gotten anything to go with that topic, unfortuneately..

Topic -- Yes, for both Flurries. "Then and Now" seems all the more appropriate, don't you think?

06 and 07 -- last year's Flurry (Winter 2006-7) got stalled out, and when I was getting ready to do this year's Flurry (Winter 2007-08) I talked to Dray and we decided to run the clutches from the 06 Flurry with the new ones, so that there could be even more awesome dragons.

Asha -- I haven't gotten your candidate yet. Did you send to ryslen_flurry @ yahoo.com?

panserbjorn -- if you could send the whole form to me in a PM, that would be most helpful.

Yeah, thats the address I sent it to. It might actually be my email, which has all sorts of internet security crap on it. Sometimes emails don't get through the checkpoints.
You mind if I PM the candidate to you? That'll make it easier, I'm sure.
