I've always meant to ask this. Are you expecting a woman to show up at the door soon, Shard? *chuckles*

My URLs are still good and I'm still in. ^^

'Epic' is most concisely defined as something that, were you to do it in view of a person in real life, they'd pretty much have to sleep with you immediately to maintain order in the universe.
I sneezed. It seems to have reshaped reality. My bad.

o.0

Well it's from my Dawnlight Chronicles book... Shard drops his fork a couple times due to the surprise he's just had (one when Rue describes their night of raging hormone weasel sex as 'nothing special' and the other when he learns that his long-time adversary Mallory Knight is in the city ready to kill him)... >_> so no? :)

Ah, I remember this old saying that dropping a spoon meant a baby was on its way in the family. After a bit of research (yes, I have way too much time on my hands), I found that dropping a fork means to expect a woman at the door, a knife to expect a man.

It's weird and a bit random, but a lot of trivia and old wives tale sites seem to confirm it. *shrugs* I think I like your explanation better, makes far more sense anyway. *chuckles*

And an itchy nose means someone is thinking about you...someone must think of me A LOT because my nose itches all the time...But only since last fall. I blame the guy I had/have a crush on. It started after I met him. Oi.

Love the explanation, Shard. Very cute.

I have the dragons drawn; some of them are finished templates.

But my priority right now is getting all of my Geocities pages copied to my harddrive.

How this relates to the Flurry:
Mine aren't the only pages on Geocities that are endangered, and all of the Novos who reside there will need new pages, and I'm not thrilled at the prospect of having half of the candidates being dead pages.

Here is the list of the Novos as it stands right now, in case anybody has forgotten who they submitted.
http://www.geocities.com/ryslen_flurry/ ... Novos.html

If yours are on Geocities, please post in this thread the new links when you repage those characters.

If yours are not on Geocities, please confirm that you still want them in and either (a) confirm that your link is still correct or (b) give me the new link.

It is not impossible that I'll reopen the list and take a few more Novos. There are a lot of factors that will go into that decision, so don't jump the gun on me.
Funny, Kazey's still not on the list though he's been done for over a year. Granted now I have to move him because of the Geocities thing. Still in the process of moving everything and only have Turasake Hold saved thus far *shakes head at her procrastination* That leaves all my riders, Seiryuu Weyr, Cincanta Weyr, and the pick up pages accounts that I need to save things in case I for some reason don't have them already on my hard drive because I made them away from home, or the files are on one of my old laptops that does not work for me anymore.

I haven't been keeping up on that either, was there any suggestions on free websites to move them to?

I know Freehostia was being used by quite a few people here, and I've seen DotEasy recommended as well, though reviews of their paid service are very mixed. I'd steer clear of Freewebs, as their ads are starting to become more and more invasive.

Personally, I've gotten tired with most free webhosts, since I've gone through a ton of fly-by-nights before finally resigning myself to Geocities, and now Yahoo's finally pulling the plug on 'em. Hopefully someone with a bit more experience can steer you in a decent direction. =)

If I worked with my websites more often I'd probably buy a site but since I am on a play when I have time basis and the fact that usually the only people who look at my pages are myself and those who I'm adopting from it doesn't really make thing look like a good reason to pay a monthly or yearly fee just to have a website for that. Too bad I've got a busy weekend this weekend. I may be able to save some more of my pages before Monday... if I remember ;P

All I need a free site that will allow me to do my own HTML coding and maybe a lot more space than geocities so I don't need so many accounts (hopefully just one to operate them all from)
