Sometimes my browser shows pages like that too when I've converted them straight from Word. Maybe it's the character encoding settings for that page?

It's showing up fine on my screen though, Yakima.

(I'm in over my head when it comes to genetics so I'll just trust your word for it for now. It looks like it's really fun so I think I'll sit down and learn this when I go on break from school. xD)

They're correct on the pickup page, so yeah it's probably a curved-quote issue. :/

I've tried so many things to get FF3 to correct that. I should probably send it to mozilla as a bug, it's just not right. :/

See if it's right now, Shard. I changed all the curved ones to straight ones...

@ Saeri: I have the coding rules/explanation up at the site. Not fully edited because I'm still tweaking it, but it's there. Look under Hatching Sands for Dragon Genetics.

And glad you like. Nyth's will be tomorrow...or tonight if I get board. It's only four eggs...it's a short story.

Yup that was it, now it only doesn't like the -- dashes.

But there are only a couple of those.

Just weird that ff doesn't recognize it, it's not like I don't have the right fonts installed.

Which version are you on? I just downloaded and installed 3.8 or whatever the newest version is, and I've been having hella trouble with it the last couple days. But this display error has been happening since, I think, before I even updated to 3. I'd been using 2 for a long time.

3.0.8 - so it's the same one. Weird. Unless there a windows update that is needed or something, I wouldn't know. >.< Wish I could help.

^ LOL Poor Nyth! I'm on the short side in my family so I have a bit of height inferiority complex too.

I am now officially a fan of Kesukiath's. That was definitely one of the most entertaining hatching stories I've read in quite a while and I'm looking forward to the Frenzy now!

I've just started reading through the Dragon Genetics page and I'm really impressed at how in depth it is. It's really interesting.

He...well, he is undead so I imagine his body tempture isn't the same as ours, thus hes cold. Nyth only called him creepy because he's undead and such.

Kesu does find humiliating the 'simple' Pernese very entertaining...perhaps too entertaining. >.<

Glad you liked the story. XD I had fun with it.

And that pearl turned out beautiful, didn't she. I have half a mind to give Chayna a pearl firelizard because of what Nyth said. XD

Added to the genetic page...I think I'm pretty much set with it now.

Heehee...just wanted to mention that. I redid the images on it, too.

I would like to know what people think about the browned bronze idea, you know, those colors from the AEC clutches that sound weird. I think if I combine my original idea (of putting a layer of brown over bronze and lowering the opacity), then speckling it lightly with about 30% of brown, I get my originally intended effect.

Yeah, go me for changing again but sometimes it's hard to put an idea from my head and color it that way on the computer until five years after the clutch has hatched. LOL

Okay, so, bad news is the weyrling template was saved shrunk and messed up so I have to find the drawing and rescan it/re-template it. GRRRRR....Stupid computer.

I haven't forgotten about this clutch, honest.

Though, I might open up the last Alskyrian clutch at Falas since that one hatched between The last two clutches at the FGPC...

Whoops...

So, yeah. Shouldn't take me too long to get the Weyrling back together.

Until then - have fun oiling and bathing your dragons longer! XD

Okay, here is my question...do you people really want the Weyrlings or can I skip to the adults? My Weyrling Template was saved wrong and I have to redo it and since I'm going to be going "on haitus/vaction" I want to make sure I get some things done/out before then.

So...it's up to you.

And...has anyone seen Cy? I was so looking forward to reading move of that story and she's gone pooof.

Well thing is I would have put it up on the old site too but I've actually had to move all those pages in my directory in the hard drive, which means dreamweaver only knows those urls. At some point before they close down maybe I should have forward links but that'd be ridiculously time consuming

I also provided the updated code as I tweaked it a bit. The only things that changed was the speckle codes, which were rearranged and tweaked, and the Light/Night part. For some, the (ll) is now Ll. I'm sorry 'bout that. The code is pretty set except for the mutations.

Okay, was thinking today about Falas/FGPC/Dark Moon stuff and this is what I've kinda come up with.

I'm still waiting for the Ryslen All Girl's clutch before I can move on with Falas and the FGPC sooooo...it's Dark Moon if I do anything.

Either way...

Dark Moon Weyr: clutch 7 is open and will hatch when ever I get enough candidates. *pokes weyrling images* yeah, gotta work on those...

Falas Weyr: the second Alskyrian clutch will be cancled. Sorry...I just want to get to Pernese again there. Akyth will be next (if Luna or whoever owns her is still around). Otherwise I'll put a green or two in there to cover 11 and 12. Then Nysheth will clutch. Then a triple-green clutch, then a gold the Tribute Clutch (which is in tribute to the End of Pass Clutch from the previous Falas in the Tenth Pass. It will be much smaller and I'm gonna make sure all the dragons are Pernese this time. >.< More details on that (if people are interested) when it gets closer).

FGPC: I'm gonna move the Of Elves and Magic Frenzy to Treval Dragonry. This way I don't have to worry about going against the last hatching story at the FGPC where Kesukiath harasses Nyth.

These dragons are more magical so transfering them to Treval would make more sense. It's gonna be a Treval-FGPC joint project because the eggs are still altered and stuff. I just want to get it out of the way and go back to Pernese dragons only. Also, the only "frenzy" type thing I want at the FGPC is the AEC (which is darn near tradition...for me at least). There will be no more "natural" clutches anymore. At least some of the eggs in every clutch will be altered. This is what I intended for the FGPC it's about time I get back it!

And that's about it so far. Hope this dosn't make anyone to mad. I'm still stuck because I need Yenna to Impress somewhere if she dosn't Impress at Ryslen...so....*pokes TyGryph* XD

Definitely a fantastic read. The Genetics Code Maker was extremely straightforward and clear.

I love how you have the sample images up on the guide too.
