Nope, no deadline just yet for Itsaso's clutch; it's the same as all the others - once the spots are filled (though at the moment I don't have a set number of eggs in mind). ^.^; *shrug?*

However, Eikida's clutch -does- have a deadline, and it is TOMORROW. Aaaand... at the moment, it looks as though I'll be keeping a few. *amused*

I'm kind of confused though, because there isn't a real clear indicator on the main website about her nests, OR who might be there for it. I'm guessing you haven't updated the listing?

Feline, have you tried taking the document into notepad and running a search/replace? Copy the quotation mark that's having trouble into the 'find' section, and then type in " in the replace section... it ought to work.

Word is a jackass. XD I think sometimes it doesn't like ellipses, either.

It's because Word uses "smart quotes" and a special symbol for ellipses that turns the three dots into one font character. Ditto with en and em dashes.

You can turn those off in Tools -> AutoCorrect options, in the AutoCorrect and AutoFormat As You Type tabs (at least that's how they go in my version of Word). Then when you type Word will use regular characters that copypaste to the web just fine.

Um yeah, apps for Eikida's clutch are now officially closed. XD; Sorry I didn't get to this Sunday night like I had planned - Stuff happened, and I ended up going to sleep at 2am and waking up at 5am to finish a project for this morning. @.@

Anyway! I'll get working on that clutch, but remember that the others are still open! :D *scampers over to update nests page to reflect current candidate standing*

Hoookay. So I've been dead for a while. Sorry! ^.^;; But! Now that I'm all moved in and able, I can get these clutches out and open up flights again. X3

And in that vein, this update is both a heads-up, and a shout-out.

Firstly: are there any more apps for Zettai's clutch? As it is, everyone gets a double bonding. *amused* So if you'd rather not give your char two dragons (who will likely be on the large side, thanks to their dad), let me know now, kay? And also: How about Itsaso? Any more apps?

And secondly: Is everyone even still here? o.O I'm gonna go ahead and close/send out the next three clutches to whoever has sent in chars, 'cause they've been open for... far too long. >.>;

Anyway, that's about it. And it's sorta late, so my brain isn't quite working right at the moment, so I'll save talk of records reviewing for tomorrow, when I can think.

Oh, P.S. I have a new Enforcer to help me with the records, and she'll be strict with people who haven't updated their pages ('cause I really can't. >.>;;) so there'll be some possible abandonments to discuss, and emails to search for, but those, too, will wait.

Would it be possible to get an alert before abandonment? :\ I remember seeing some of my dragons from you at the hatchling stage and couldn't find an adult picture for them (Duban's babies, I think? D: I can't remember!) It's been so long... I was wondering if I could get a chance to go through and update page URL's before getting the boot, since I've moved to a new webspace and all that!

If we could make sure that all the adults have been handed out before being told they're abandoned that'd be awesome. I know I didn't recieve any and there are still babies on the pickup page for the ones I have.

I don't mind any doubles for any of my existing candidates, and if you want some more from me, I'd be happy to oblige.

Yeah, there'll definitely be a warning before any abandonment, both posted here, and sent via email for those who don't check back very often. <3 Don't worry, I'm not -that- mean. ^.^; It's just that.. some of these babies have waited literally years to be put up or updated, and I don't want to just let them sit like that any more.

And as for hatchling/adult images, check the records pages. ^.^ I usually keep both displayed up there, for just this reason. The exceptions are purebred Saa clutches, and clutch #2, because they're all individual images that go out as I'm informed on their stories' readyness.

Anyway, we're gonna go through the list and find some email addresses (because I was an idiot and left them all back home on my -other- laptop *facepalm*), so abandonment probably won't even be an issue for at least a week. Just wanted to get the word out that it was coming. And even when it does come, it'll be for the older generations. I'm not gonna abandon anyone from the more recent clutches. (Though #7 is getting close to having a deadline. *pokes it* For all that I hate to rush people with their Saa babies, I want to have those purebred clutches grown before I send out another one.)
