Rather than try to update the page before I run to work, here's my current lineup for candidates:

Naimhdeach Balechild (Myrror)

Baka's two are getting dropped because she hasn't responded to my emails in forever and I think she poofed.

I would have had mine done last night, save that we had a massive flood in the building and I wound up spending two and a half hours vacuuming and trying to see through steam! XD

Woops, count me out of this clutch. Boss has wrangled me in to do (shudder) conflict management with some cranky residents. :E This would all be well and good if I actually got paid for it!

I'll finish the story for another event, whenever my brain gets out of my boss' ass. XD

And now for something completely different.

So I just realized...remember back in Theurge 01, when I had the little gimmick of naming the Knowledge-Cursed hatchlings in one of my invented languages because there was no way for them to speak their REAL names? I did, indeed, know their real names myself, but I liked getting to play with my alien language and so happily left them with their real names unknown.

On and off, stumbling over that clutch again, I wondered about making their real names known, anyway, but discarded it for one reason or another. Except I just realized: their real names could have been learned if someone had asked one of the Gifted or Blessed hatchlings what the Cursed ones were named! THEY could have recited the riddle, then! Duh!

Even so, I'm not about to retcon the hatchling, so have a little game. Here's riddles for the "nameless" hatchlings. They're made up off the top of my head and I'm no master riddler, so they could be decent or they could be godawful, but just like the Gifted and Blessed hatchlings, all the names end in 'th' and are words you'd find in an English dictionary so they shouldn't be too hard...I think. X3

Arguably, grues "can't" be named. They're not going to think of themselves by any title they're given, even if they respond to it. In practice, well, the bond has to call them SOMEthing, yes? (They're almost like cats in that regard. Big, nasty, light-allergic, piranha-frenzy cats....) XD So while I won't be recording any psuedo-names that they are given, I'm not saying not to do it, either.

The clutch with the Catastrophe godlings was supposed to close yesterday, but 1) I'm yet unprepared for it and 2) I have all of two candidates. XD If that's all I get, that's all I get, and I can understand considering how difficult something like an 'incarnation of catastrophe" would be to place with a strong, preferably evil bonder, buuuuuut....

Well, I'm leaving the clutch open for another week while I get things together and finish templates and such.
