Since Lakota and Shiolar both have disappeared, Glyff-ti and Luera's flights are sadly poof'd (gone!). ;_;

Bumping this, because of two things.

a) I don't know if anyone's actually seen this topic;
b) I'm pretty desperate for interest in this.

So, yeah. Chasers are needed, as well as a riser or two... anyone got 'em?

The last one is a bit iffy, becuase she was a kit when the fluffymutt project at mirus was going on, but they aren't related. :/ just.. young enough to be his daughter? so i guess that would be up to shiolar, to allow her or not-- i doubt she remembers.

Why not send S'velena in as a riser, Ness? I have a few fuzzy dragons who'd love to chase her, and it'd negate any age conflicts between her and Luera.

And just some food for thought, I have dragons in my ranks who would be nearing their 20's or 30's if their continuities kept constant. I just ignore most timelines for flights unless the dragons are specifically related in some fashion. But then there's other factors to consider. Like inbreeding. >.>

Well, age gaps aren't really an issue, since S'velena was born on Mirus, and Luera lives on Mirus. Time fractures are such a convenient way to not worry about continuity...

XP I don't usually worry about ages. Hell, half the time i rarely worry about inbreeding-- it /is/ fairly common in nature, it's just to excessives where you start seeing serious problems, most of the time. but i tend to shy away from that~
But yeah~ I dunno other people's views on dragon ages and mating and whatnot, so I will tread on the safe side of things~ That said, shio says he doesn't mind, so we're good.

and i might just send her here or somewhere to rise, keilin, provided she looses~

Good excuse, shio~ Mindspace has something like that.. or rather, it's just outside of time and whatnot. I just haven't found a way to make that.. pseudoplausable enough to be introduced publically. or something.

I don't mind a bit of inbreeding, if they're distantly related... I draw the line at cousins. I figure that with all the species we have here, there's enough genetic diversity to make up for a bit of inbreeding now and then. Plus, I had to come up with that justification coz I have two dragons that happen to be cousins, but IC it would make sense for them to breed... But they're both mutts of several different dragon species, so... it'll work fine...

And... I'm not sure Mirus' time fractures are plausible. It just got thrown in because I needed it and explained as the consequences of Rashilo creating a massive time paradox that can't be fixed. And then I had to make excuses for some people being aware of them and not others, and... I still don't have a definitive answer on that. The general answer is, however: Magic. No need to explain anything when you have magic, right?

Trudat. XP Hell, that's pretty much the premise of mindspace. It's all magic. >.> Which is why it barely exists. and the land itself is alive and will attack people it doesn't like. and basically everything in mindspace, whether or not it's public knowledge-- i've had mindspace loong before i came to nexus, i just used it cuz i liked the world and didnt like the idea of making a whole new one. i just feel bad using that excuse, you know? >.> I suppose i could find a story-based way to make it work, too.. the whole not-really-existy thing would be good.

And that's what i was thinking too. LOTS of species, and more all the time. -rolls about- i don't even really mind brotherxsister pairings or other such things, though they make me cringe a bit-- they happen in cats and dogs and crap even when humans don't get involved, so whatever. I just don't like it in large quantities, if it shows up at all. O___o and tend to keep it out of hte main loop in general, just because I'm not amazingly fond of it or anything. XP

I had it on Danach, because of IC reasons, both in the dragons and the humans. One of the IC things I had the most fun with was Ketrenal's supposed inbredness from his father's side, which was kinda the... royal line of Cathair Fionabhainn. And I know that Kataela's Thentrith and Riganth, the dragon of D'lan, the previous Cathairix, were brother and sister, and that their parents were brother and sister, and THEIR parents were brother and sister, and onwards and backwards... All in all, the arrival of Kajashaji was probably a very good thing for Fionabhainn...

But yeah, I seem to remember that inbreeding is supposed to be okay in Pernese dragons, because... it had to be on account of the inbreeding in the books, and Anne couldn't just have something horrible happen to the dragons because they'd been inbreeding in Benden for hundreds of years. Although that would have been funny...

Flurry dragons, and probably my favorite pair. They've only mated once before, for the 2004 Flurry that I wasn't able to participate in. So if I could snag one of these kids, I'd be uber happy.
