To say Remus was caught off guard was an understatement. One moment he was hugging Kathamus and being headbutt by his own dragon, the next he was falling sideways from the unexpected, though gentle, headbutt from the other side. The vibrantly haired man stared at the young dragon with wide eyes. This wasn't supposed to happen. He wasn't here to bond. He was here for Lisone, and for Makani and Kaleto. Still, he wasn't one to say no. Instead the man obeyed the young dragon and gave him a big hug.
"Well hello Kotori. Nice day isn't it? What are you doing all the way over here by your lonesome?" Remus asked,grinning hugely at the brightly colored dragon. One could tell his pleasure from the way his hair was suddenly flooded with a brilliant yellow color to match the young dragon.
Remus... can you handle another bond? You can barely take care of yourself and the Fort, Kaleto pointed out.
Makani reacted more positively, nuzzling the new young dragon. He's so cute! I wanna play with him!
From his place closer to the other hatchlings, Lisone watched sadly. Remus had bonded again? But hadn't they come here for him to try and bond? What if the other dragons wanted cheerful people like Remus who could protect them instead of some silly guy with magic? This wasn't fair. Remus had two dragons already. Weren't you supposed to be happy with your original bond?

Todd and Vixen watched as the hatchlings began to bond. Todd had began moving a little bit closer to the hatchlings in hopes of being noticed. Vixen on the other hand remainded stationary at the back of the group. "What am I doin ghere?" she said to the atmosphere. She looked to her brother.
Todd watched as the two bonded hopefuls left. "A gold an a white." he said as they walked away. He turned his attention to a conversation that was being held. Looking over he saw one dragon, previously lost in a trance, begin to concentrate on the babies. Shaking his head to glanced at Vixen and saw her irritated look. She must have heard the entire conversation. He thought as he looked around the candidates.
Vixen glared at her brother near the front of the group. He's too hopeful. He's gonna get himself hurt like that. She thought to herself. She looked down into the pale sand. Out of sheer bordome she began to paw at it. Making an indentation and then filling it up and starting all over again. I wonder why it's always sand. She thought as the fur on her paws began to get covered in sand.

Aleah, the Sun God of Otykaii, hadn't really given much thought to what would happen to him if his worshipers stopped worshiping, after all, he was the sun, you couldn't stop believing in the sun.
That was why he didn't really think anything of a little fluctuation in his powers, at least, not until Abyss, God of the Abyss, Death, and messanger for the two greater gods, Light and Dark, appeared in his realm.
Looking tired and irritated, Abyss said simply, -Light wants to see you all. Go to their plane.
Aleah opened his mouth to respond, but Abyss had already left.
Shrugging one shoulder, Aleah opened his own portal to the home realm of Light and Dark, "rulers" of the pantheon.

Once all the gods had gathered, Dark and Light told them of the tragedy that would soon befall them: they were being forgotten. Soon, they would disappear altogether. If they didn't do something about it.
The solution, They proposed, was to find a symbol of power to remind the inhabitants of Otykaii who they should be worshipping.
And the symbol They'd chosen was Dragons.
Which was all well and good, but They had offered no real explanation as to how they were supposed to do this. Just shut Fire up when he voiced everyone's thoughts, and told them to enter Abyss' portal.
Aleah did, with no little dislike. He was the sun god, not meant to enter the blackness that was the Abyss, sucking up even his light.
But... well... if Light said that was what he was to do, he would do it.

After stepping into Abyss' portal, the next thing Aleah was aware of was flying face first into the floor of a round room filled with dragons and humanoids.
Picking himself off the floor, Aleah brushed off his tunic to hide his embarassment, absently noting that his skin glowed slightly, even on this plane. Looking around him, Aleah tried to project the appearance that he knew exactly what he was doing (but really hoped that someone would come tell him what exactly was going on here, and soon).
