Nidus Ryslen: News!

Post by TyGryph »

8/9/10 - This just came into my email box: "You are now the proud owner of tygryph.com."

---------------------

Whoa. And stuff. >.> Time to get things back in gear. Ryslen Exists. I promise.

Please Take Notice:
Any Ryslen dragon (or AAM Beast) that is not currently paged will NOT be abandoned until Jan. 1, 2010. Due to the whole Geocities closing BS, and the fact that I've got stuff to migrate too... now is not the time to be a hardass. (Which means redemption is possible for any dragon that has been abandoned/betweened at this point, except for the ones that have been readopted because they ARE where they should be.)

---
In the light of my discovery that a second Flurry White has been abandoned, I will be going through Ryslen's hatching records. From clutch #1 to present. Dragons that hatched since 2006 will be repossessed, and I may or may not list them for readoption, and every older dragon that I cannot find will be listed as deceased.

You have been warned.

See the most recent posts for the most recent updates! Thanks!
----
Okay! I'm here. I'm paying attention. I don't know how long it will last, but I'm taking advantage of every moment I've got.

I've arranged for someone to finally write the hatching of Merrameth's clutch. It's been filled for so long, the eggs might just be petrified. :P

If anyone is in contact with Jenn / RPCrazy / the gal who runs/ran Illori Cliffs Weyr (home of the Illori cats, which hatched from beanpods?!) please have her contact me ASAP. (She's Merrameth's writer, and she has been incommunicado...)

Other than that, I'm hoping to make some progress on Uthnath & Narwyn's clutch too. *crosses fingers* Wish me luck.

Whoa. Major appologies Cy. I didn't make a note of it anywhere (probably because I thought I'd be able to go back to the forum for that info) and so I had to go with what record I have.

No abandonings. All is good.

Again, totally sorry about that.

I updated the sands page -- I have two candidates that aren't up there yet (One from Sherra, one from Cacaphony), and I haven't looked into the Mini dragons' stuff yet.

Good news? I'll probably be opening Gytiath's clutch for bonders, since I seem to have more than Uthnath & Narwyn's clutches can use. I'll need two or three more bonders for it, but no rush.

Ty, will you be updating the clutch records page(s) with the children separated by father? (For record-keeping purposes, as I like to list Haeth's affai- children.) I couldn't find any hints in the story as to who my big brown sired.

Absolutely yes.

Haeth's children are all the solid purples. Interesting to note that 3/4 of them are purple and male. I don't think I've done that before at Ryslen. (Correct me if I'm wrong...)

Adherath's are all the Nights.

Ah, I was thinking it was the other way around for some reason. ^^' Thanks for clearing that up.

Haeth: WTF? /Purples/? But I'm fully Pernese!

Hi everybody!  Merrameth's clutch has now grown to fledglinghood!  Yay!  You can pick them up at http://www.geocities.com/ryslen_red/Dra ... tch51.html

The Weyrling/Fledgling is due up on Friday (the 19th).

Two dragons (Ikaeth's Zeramath and Amanda's Lerorelith) have not been  put up.  If they're not up by Friday, then they'll start looking for new bonds Saturday Morning.

As for the purpleness of Haeth's offspring... I believe there was an emphasis on "healthy little freaks" in the flight-sending story. :)

Gaaa! >.<

I'm sorry Zeramath hasn't been put up yet! I don't know how I missed that!

Rest assured, he will be up very shortly.

Okay, Zeramath and Ikaeth's pages are updated.

Ikaeth is at http://www.mysticalplace.com/sw/sponsored2/ikaeth.html
Zeramath is at http://www.mysticalplace.com/sw/sponsor ... amath.html

They're also linked off each others pages.

Sorry for the delay.

Today's the deadline -- there are only two of Merrameth's babies grown up to weyrling/fledglings. I am not amused.

That's really disappointing, Ty... :( I wonder what's happened??

And, are any of them going up on the adoption block? I'd be very happy to try for a couple...

*gasp* how could anyone abandon a Ryslen dragon! *snuggles her own Ryslenies*
I'm with Shard. If they do go up for adoption I'll try for a couple.

I have no idea. Honestly, no idea. As far as I can tell, none of them are off on late vacations or hiatuses (Hiatai?)...

I will probably have the adoptable ones put up by the end of the weekend, since I've got great internet access right now (I'm housesitting -- they have wireless and a laptop, so I can be anywhere in the house with their cats... Lil' Bit has feline ADHD, I swear...)

Ty, I don't know what happened. Honest, I had them up and uploaded when I was doing a mass updating thing.

Is it too late?

I intend to have Uthnath and Narwyn's clutches hatched by the end of this weekend, and some Minis also.

I'll send out Merrameth's Adult offspring...

and I'll also post a list of the currently abandoned who just want to get out of Ryslen... (oh, the moping! can't hardly stand it!)

Minis!

It's too bad that there are abandonlings. I can't believe it in this day and age. :)

X3 They'll get re-adopted fast--unless Ryslen has the betweening policy? :O *knows that when she's been searching various sites for adoption purposes she's never really been able to find dragons to steal!* X3

Y'know... I don't think I've ever actually betweened a dragon... Threatened to, yes. There was a Light blue abandoned from clutch #2 (2001) but he was adopted, so... yeah. I'm all for adopting. Sadistically, I think it hurts more to know your dragon has been given into someone else's care than to learn you've lost him/her to the Nothing...

Have any light blues been abandoned? Or reds? Or creams? Those three are the colors that I've been dying to get a Ryslen version of for ever so long... I'd get off my hiatus tail and write up a candie to adopt one of those guys this instant if any are about! >D

Yeeeeeeeesh... You shall have no trouble finding adopters for abandonees indeed....

*drools over the Ryslen-y goodness*

I'm in the process of going through and checking to make sure I have all the Novos listed at Ryslen... and I realized that most of the ones standing around the sands have been waiting for over a calendar year.

  OMG I am SOOOO sorry about this!
