Okay, twice now I've started writing this bloody story, only to have my compute rfreeze on me. >:| I was halfway done the second one, too.
Writing in general is hard and frustrating for me-- it reminds me of how much of a social idiot I am and how badly I write in the first place. That in itself is frustrating, as is the fact that i've started the damn story twice only to have it dissapear on me twice.
This is why we save things regularly. X.x
Even though it's my own fault, I am now frustrated and angry and the story, if i were to write one now, would be even worse than usual because me writing stories when angry = half assed. I'll try to find the time to write the story sometime soon, when i get de-frustrated. Sorry if I don't. Did anyone want a story specifically?

Take no offense if you dislike what you got-- i used a generator to create the dragons' collective personalities and decided what sort of people they'd go for before I even looked at the candidates, and THEN i matched people up. Fairest way, I think.

I will expand the number of PC spots if i need to, and I have 18 eggs available - however many eggs Nicole, Racheal and myself choose to take.
If i have to, I'll take more candidates than i have room for, since some people gave me a lot of candidates. ^^; prolly wont come to that though.

-rolls around- mmk. More information, plus the clutch is officially open!
There will be 18 eggs. Expect a tranditional colour spectrum, with a twist. Some will have swirls, some will have darker "burn marks" or gradually get darker, and some will be embers or have emberlike markings. Expect between 4-6 normals.
5 of the 18 hatchlings will be available for sponsor, and only 4 of those are available to everyone. THOSE dragonets are first come first served. No more than one per person. Said dragonets will also have a strong inclination to bond later in life.
All the others require bonds. It's up to Nicole whether those who impress these dragons may bond again, as it's her clutch. They may sponsor, however-- that is, if the dragon's personality isn't opposed to it.
I think i'm gonna do this tranditionally. ish. For non-pernese clutches, i may change that, but since these guys would all be hatching and impressing at the same time, it's just easier to write one big story at once. I haven't set a deadline. I'll be doing it like Nicole's clutches, though-- that is, a number of PC spots and the rest will be NPC.
for now, let's say there's 7 PC spots open, discounting the dragonet I will be taking, the dragonet nicole will be taking, and any dragonets Racheal will be taking, if she wants any. Of course, if I need to open more spots, I will. ^^
I'd prolly appreciate it if you'd post if you were interested and will send candidates down below, and maybe how many, though of course that may not be stationary. Just to give me an idea of how many PC spots i'll need.
The deadline will be anywhere from 2 weeks to a month and a half from now. Probably not so long as the latter, but yeah. Woof.

First of all, before I start this post, I'm sorry for any wierdness / dumb spelling/grammer mistakes. I'm so tired i should be shot, but I'm resisting sleep in order to get a few things done.
mmk. Amyniath just rose and whatnot, and i'm still getting the specifics down, but so far as i can tell it's gonna be a pretty old-worldy clutch and whatnot. It's at academy, so yes. Feel free to start sending in candidates. That's not really the point of this post, though.
How should i conduct it/conduct my future agency hatchings? I'll do some purely on nexus now and again, but likely not often. So yes.
should I
A- do it the tranditional way and assign a deadline, up until whiuch people will send me candidates, at which point I'll close it and do a hatching. This is tedious and long, and also means that people might not send me as many candidates/wait till the last minute/something else, but it also seems to work pretty well in general.
B- do the above, but limit the number of PC spots and hatch a bunch of npc spots too, some of which will be available for adoption (What nicole does)?
C- Leave it open until a certain point, and let people submit candidates, and just hatch them when i can. I,e, you send me candidates and can keep sending me candidates up until the specified dates, and I'll hatch them for the candidates i've got when I find the time? (This is what Shiolar does) This will work different for each species-- in this case there wouldn't be a hatching story until the deadline, but there would be trhe dragons going out with stats and whatnot. Other species that have livebirth/don't always bond at the same time like oldworld dragons do would get ministories for each set of candidates impressed, and so on.
