True-ish. X3 I liked most of what I saw (:D Some of it was filmed in Tsawwassen, apparently, which is where I used to go to the beach and otherwise waste away my summers!), though the movie itself was... eh. XD Just love the jackal and hawk helmets. Those are kickass.

Semi-true. My car's a diesel (the stuff you run trucks and buses and stuff on), but that's even more expensive than gas/petrol. I'm disgusted by those prices. You dudes with gas/petrol have it lucky. But then diesel is more efficient so my car does more miles out of the same quantity of fuel... pros and cons either way.

True, and I don't even drive a car! (XD I was disgusted when it was .65 cents a liter, and now that it's 1.14 per liter I don't even look anymore. Canadian Gas station boards are all blank because they were short-sighted and didn't include an extra display-digit. XD "If you have to ask what price it is, you can't afford it!")

((Side note: 1.14 cents per litre? *converts currency* I wish fuel here was that price... that's about... 50p a litre? Currently here gas/petrol is the equivalent of about $1.60 US or about $2.00 Canadian... give or take a bit.))

XD I live in alberta. Alberta = Oil Fields = Northern Texas in many, many ways, save that we're cold where they're hot, we have Canadian accents where they have... well, Texan ones! X333 I /still/ think it's outrageous... and this is only the beginning, too. 9.9'

Our prices shot up really quickly very recently... apparently it's because of the hurricane, but I don't quite understand why that should be. The UK is a long way away from the US where the hurricane happened, and we don't even buy our oil from the US, as far as I know... Probably some horrible person taking advantage of a tragedy to make an excuse to hike the prices up a bit more and get even richer than he already is...
