http://mindspace.sitesled.com/Character ... iamond.htm

issiosh at one point had two stories beside hte hatching ones, but due to some problems they got taken down, and as I'm now on story-hiatus, i doubt she'll be getting reworked storries. sorry~

Hey, if anybody's interested, here's some information on Asandus genetics... a little off-topic, yes, but they could be useful. :3

I felt especially bad for the niteshan/makanan crossbreeds. Imagine, being half air, and not being able to fly. Poor dominant wing-loss trait :P

Hee hee. X3 Astra, you're so right. I bet they have a tough time.

Thank you so, so much to everyone who's got their dragons from this up already. :D

Now, I'm going to warn you now, so I don't have to later: For this clutch, I'll actually -- gasp -- be enforcing my deadlines! So, if you don't get your baby images up either linked to your candidate page or given to me by URL, by November 14th, they're getting abandoned!

Fair warning. :3

Copper minifrenzy abandonlings are in, folks.

ABANDONED:
3c. Fonyen Ra'lu (Valo Saer)
3d. Ny'capo Selamputo (Banil Shaling)
3g. Red Dawn (Banil Shaling)

Still deciding how I'm going to re-adopt these guys out; I'll let you all know!

Alright! The riser (and indicentally, the chaser) for the next clutch have been chosen!

Next clutching on Nidus sands will be one Petasati Promontores, caught by her mate Veresti. Colors are expected to be pale, greys and silvers, yellows, blues, and maybe even a few browns and opalescents. Do not expect multi-legs, because I have an intense dislike for extraneous limb-ness. :) Actual clutch information is on hold for now, pending a written flight story!

For those of you who sent in risers and pairs who did not get chosen this time, don't despair! The decision was a REALLY really hard one for me (I had to resort to choosing by number-randomizer between my favorite three), so some of you will get messages later asking if I can use your riser/pair next time. X3

The flight has been flown, and the clutch is... well... gestating! Since Avengaeans do the live-birth thing, after all, but that just means that the mother is getting pampered mercilessly and monitored carefully. :3

The sands are once again open for candidates, and this time, since there is no set egg-number, a deadline has been set instead! So have your candidates in for November 25! I'll be sending these guys out soon thereafter irregardless of how many candidates I've got. :3

Also, I've been wondering: Are my rules too ambigious?

I pretty much require a story, and some kind of personality description seperate from it. This can be a stat sheet, or it doesn't have to be, whichever. But (barring the Copper Frenzy, as I needed quantity and not quality at that point) I do require a story, and I've been getting a lot of stat sheets. :/

I think I'll have to revamp my rules. People, I suggest you read them... because those of you who haven't, I can tell that you haven't. ^.^;

*reads the rules* Well, I can see where one could get confused at that point--as far as I read, it says you prefer short stories, but you need a stat sheet/personality description for the charaters. It COULD be interpreted as a stat sheet only is needed, and a story is preferred...

-nodnod- that rule confused me as well, but the other way around... >.< But then again, that was because I saw someone else who'd been accepted without obeying that rule, so it wasn't so much the rule that confused me, as context. XP

Oops... My bad.

I can write a story before the 25. It shouldn't take to long.

I was still stuck in the 23ed mood too for the flurry so I was running around like a chicken with no head so to speak too.

Is it still true that you accept stats sheets for sponsors? :: gave DF that advice earlier, since that's what the rule looked like it said, and she didn't have time for a story >.> ::

Midori: Sponsor. ^__^

Nessie: If other people don't 'seem' to be following the rules, I've generallry already dealt with, or am going to deal with them separately. :P Go by the rules, not what eveyrone else is doing.

Gail: Nope, fraid not. :/

BUT, I tihnk I'm going to accept the stat sheets and such I got this time because, well, I can understand where my rules would get confusing. However, no more stat-sheets-only after this! X3

I know that now, but you should probably note /that/ on your rules page as well. >.> I'm probably not alone in that I take my cues for what to do when submitting a character by looking at other pages. maybe it's cuz i'm new, but yeah. :/

:D but stats! I'll send you another sponsor, then,.

Then you definitely need to update your rules, cuz the sponsor rules say you prefer a story, but it's not necessary XD

o.O Ness, I don't think it should be necessary to tell people that the proper procedure is to follow the rules. It would be ridiculous and redundant to put on the rules page, "oh, by the way, you should actually follow these rules, I didn't just put them here for fun!"

Astra, I'd be thrilled if you sent someone. X3

Gail, that rule was meant to mean I would enjoy if they had a post-hatching story as well. *sheepish*

Shadow, yay!

Anyways, rules are updated. Read them.

That's not even what I was talking about, but yes, that's confusing, too.

No, what I meant was this one. "Sponsorships are a way to get a dragon without writing a novo story." XD That sentence, right there, needs to be changed if you want stories for sponsors XD

Not trying to pick on you, just trying to help you make it clearer : ) Especially since I told DF you didn't require stories for sponsors, since she had to leave for several days before the deadline, and I feel bad for telling her that now ^^'

no no no, that's not what i meant. :/ Yeah duh they're not put up there for hte hell of it, but like.
if you put up a bunch of rules, and then someone goes to thecandidates page and sees a bunch of candidates that at least seem to violate those rules but have been accepted, what are we supposed to think? Yeah, sure, now we're like, oooh well that's cuz it's been worked out, but the efirst time around? and other times in the future? Maybe you'd make that connection, but I know a few people, myself included, who wouldn't. There are ways that could be taken. so you might want to put a clause on your rule page saying, "Even if it appears that these are not being followed, you should follow them, becuase the people who appear not to have something arranged" or something like that. Things can be taken hundreds of ways, and not all of us have the same mental context as yo udo. I know that /that's/ what confuses me most of the time. >.>; and me to other people, but yes.

:3 Excuse the wierd way that's written; I talk strange. >.> not bitching, just... trying to get what i'd normally think in that situation across? :3 that's the only thing that's really confused me in your rules before.

:/ Damn, I seem to have missed that one, too!

Anywhoo, rules updated again (along with a little page streamlining).

:/ Ness, this may be pigheaded of me, but I'm still not going to put an addendum on my rules page telling people that they have to follow the rules. It's because I myself would be rather insulted if I read that on someone else's rulepage -- it just seems condecending to me, it implies that the agency owner in question doesn't trust me to take responsibility for my own pages. I am just concerned that the people who are like me out there will take it the same way, and I would rather quietly deal with rulebreakers in the context of email, than insult those people who would follow the rules anyways.
