Personality: Aethelred was scooped out of his Journeyman Harper status while on the rode home to Shintaru Hold, something that he was not well pleased by... however, the corresponding Impression to Maed has made the journey well worth it! He is a craftsman in that his specialty is the building and maintenance of musical instruments. He is not a Master yet, however this man shows promise, especially in terms of the more complex string instruments.
...And yes, he does carry with him a tiny violin. >:D

Personality: If Jhazoroth is the one who wants to solve crimes and get the fame, Ingwen tends to be the researcher of the duo, given that she is much more intelligent than her green. She is a bookworm, accustomed to and enjoying the prospect of hours and hours of research. She's empathetic and easily worried, tending to get caught up with her few friends and even with the next caper that Jhaz' is on about and putting those before her own needs. Ingwen specializes in medicine, and has had a liking for it ever since she was young. She is strangely unbothered by blood and organic insides, for all that she shies away from wholly intact people. If, for example, a cadaver were put in front of her, Ingwen would be right in there with bonesaws and tongs and other tools to find out the reason behind the death!

She can be terrifying. In any case, Ani has shoulder length, strawberry blond hair that she keeps tightly bound up behind her -- when it gets free (as it sometimes does around her face) it is wispy and extremely curly, much to her annoyance. She has ruddy skin and hazel-gold eyes and tends to wear studded leather over red and gold clothing, though she has days that she likes to dress up in feminine dresses. Doesn't mean that she doesn't keep throwing knives up her sleeves and a dagger on her belt, however!
Personality: Ani is a wanderer; moreover she's a wandering justice dispenser. She grew up on Pern to a Weyrhold that was spread across the wide Southern Continent, trained by an uncle dragonrider who had in his day been a very skilled soldier. Ani could dispense with wild cats on her own, given her incredible speed and strength, though her love of family and friends (and humans in general!) kept her from growing cold.
At some point in her teens, marauders ransacked her parents' stead, and though she had not been home since she was a small child, she was devastated. She returned home only to find that her father, the traitor, had directed the marauders into the stead and had been planning the attack in order to get out of a marriage that he had no longer wanted. She had spent the next two years hunting him and the band that he'd joined and then dispatching them, though by that point she had become bitter and, upon returning to her uncle, discovered that she was no longer quite wanted.
Ani was sent with love to Avengaea before she bonded, as links between the Weyrhold and the other planet had begun to be forged. Uncertain of the new surroundings, Ani set out on her own. The Nidus was too strange for her. She met Anica on Avengaea, and discovered that the strange Piralan mutt had a similarly epic journey from her starting point at Nidus Corona. After some time getting used to one another, the two eventually returned to Nidus Avengaea. Both are curious, but not yet certain about the idea of bonding scrolls... they've come to rely on one another and seem to be kindred spirits.

Personality: Torine may be a human now, but that wasn't always the case. Transformed by magic unknown to her, she became a human one night under a full moon, after having been a normal fox all of her life. It's because of this that she sees the world through a different perspective than most. She still refuses to eat anything but meat, as raw as to not cause her indigestion, and takes vitamin supplements to keep her health in order as a result. She does live among humans, and learned to wear clothing and speak their language, but every so often in fits of giddy amusement she'll strip naked and run around in the wild, without a care for who's watching. She thinks of herself as an ambassador for her people, and does everything she can to raise awareness for global deforestation everywhere, in hopes of making a difference.

He is hard to look at directly for some reason, probably part of his magical essence, but the flickering light he exudes has a certain hypnotic quality that allows him to lead others much larger than him wherever he likes.
Personality: Mmx has used his abilities in the past to lead huge dragons to their demise so that he and his brethren could feast for days, however he tends to help those creatures clever enough to offer him some trinket or food for safe passage. His favorite treat is a mixture of honey and milk, and he has ventured out of dense forestry to linger around houses for many nights for those who have been kind enough to give it. Mmx is generally happy and carefree, a nocturnal spirit unafraid of anything, however he does have a darker side that can be a little scary, given he is always dancing and smiling and calling happy little songs! He is quite older than he looks, though exactly how old, he can't or won't say.

She can read body language naturally, and while her magical, celestial abilities may or may not be truthful, she spins such an excellent and plausible tale that it's nearly impossible to discredit her, especially given that most of what she predicts comes true. She has an uncanny knack for manipulation and she does use this... however, her ambivalent, friendly face is not a complete mask. She's generally watching other's backs and warning them when trouble is brewing. She sees wider than her own simple self advancement in this life.

She returned home only to find that her father, the traitor, had directed the marauders into the stead and had been planning the attack in order to get out of a marriage that he had no longer wanted. She had spent the next two years hunting him and the band that he'd joined and then dispatching them, though by that point she had become bitter and, upon returning to her uncle, discovered that she was no longer quite wanted.
Ani was sent with love to Avengaea before she bonded, as links between the Weyrhold and the other planet had begun to be forged. Uncertain of the new surroundings, Ani set out on her own. The Nidus was too strange for her. She met Anica on Avengaea, and discovered that the strange Piralan mutt had a similarly epic journey from her starting point at Nidus Corona. After some time getting used to one another, the two eventually returned to Nidus Avengaea. Both are curious, but not yet certain about the idea of bonding scrolls... they've come to rely on one another and seem to be kindred spirits.

Personality: Mmx has used his abilities in the past to lead huge dragons to their demise so that he and his brethren could feast for days, however he tends to help those creatures clever enough to offer him some trinket or food for safe passage. His favorite treat is a mixture of honey and milk, and he has ventured out of dense forestry to linger around houses for many nights for those who have been kind enough to give it. Mmx is generally happy and carefree, a nocturnal spirit unafraid of anything, however he does have a darker side that can be a little scary, given he is always dancing and smiling and calling happy little songs! He is quite older than he looks, though exactly how old, he can't or won't say.

She has an uncanny knack for manipulation and she does use this... however, her ambivalent, friendly face is not a complete mask. She's generally watching other's backs and warning them when trouble is brewing. She sees wider than her own simple self advancement in this life.

I was wondering if you guys would help me decide who to make the father for this upcoming clutch! There's Ilnathious, a spotted grey catdragon, and Nycaridu, an Ore Drak. Axys is a Lantessama-born winter dragon, so I was thinking that the Drak might be a better match (to, honor Trix and Cyan's awesome drak templates that have been posted recently! X3)... but the catdragon is more of a greyish colour, so I suspect that I'd get more 'winter' themed dragons out of it... and it is that time of year again!
eta: oh, phewf. XD I thought I'd made you upset or something, Kitsuneko. I know I've been doing lots of cross-gender pairing, but I wasn't paying a lot of attention to it!

Personality: Remy has separation anxiety. He hates being alone and god forbid if you close a door on him long enough to go to the bathroom. He also hates and is terrified of water, be it a large amount like the ocean or a small amount like a running tap. This also causes him to freak out. He is only ever completely at peace when riding at full speed across an open plain, or when cuddled up to a loved one (the closer, the better).
The second one is totally based on my cat. Don't judge me. He's licking my chest and purring and won't let me go get my cupcakes. :(
