Heh, I think it's just my body trying to go into hibernation.. lately it seems like no matter how early I go to bed, I have so much trouble waking up x_x; I would hibernate the whole winter through, if I could.

Well, all these draws are just for Sams that I'm drawing in the morning to wake up. I'm basically doing them when I feel like it, whereas if I said "A Sam for everyone!" then I would feel pressured and just lock up >_>; I'm weird that way, unfortunately..

Sorry I couldn't post it yesterday, but my back went out and I spent most of the evening on the couch :/ The winner was Luminaire.

^_^ Hey, you could amass a pile of wake-up-doodles, then hold a big draw for them all at once! :D Less chance of people being all sad for not winning! ^_^'

There's currently a Samanayr newbie draw open - if you have 5 or fewer Samanayrs you are very welcome to sign up!

It's almost that time again - in just 4 short days Samanayr breedings will be open for November! If you have a Samanayr that you'd like to get a breeding from, now's the time to get it in a Song ^_^

You can view the Song listings here (and yes, I know I have to update it >_>).

*wails* But I don't have any stallions yet!

That's okay...maybe one of these days I'll win something and it'll be a stallion and I can make my own song...*nods*

Xalia, if you REALLY want to try for a behbie this round, I do have three boys who would *love* some extra company XD XD

http://www.theglasswolf.com/cyberpets/ssong.html

...two of my stallions have Songs which are listed on that page, the other stallion is the son of one of my others ( http://www.theglasswolf.com/cyberpets/samanayr4.html ...lol, I never finished writing his page, but you get the idea) so if you want, we could place a mare of yours in one of the Songs and you could try for a breeding :3 I don't know Sky's policy on Songswitching; maybe once a mare joins a Song she's in it for life unless the stallion dies or something, but maybe it could be a temporary alliance until you get a stallion of your own. Then your mares could join his song :3

Just a suggestion. I'ma try for a breeding myself this month too, so we'll see what happens XD

Songs are a permenant thing, so yeah, a mare's in one until the stallion dies or something. It has happened IC before, with.. interesting consequences >_> So unless you want to kill off one of your Sams, which I wouldn't encourage..

Sometimes I do offer stallions for 'stud,' who hook up with a mare just long enough to conceive a foal, but I don't like to encourage that since I'd rather have them in proper Songs and such. But if there's enough demand, I could offer that service for this breeding round..

I have one lone stallion that I'd like to stud, should you allow it. I need to get my Song started. o.O And how do you get mares for your Song outside of breeding?

Thanks, though I just use randomly-generated males ^_^

You don't necessarily have to own all of the Samanayrs in a Song. Some people do, either because of IC restraints (like their Sams are on another world and can't visit each other easily, etc) or just because they want to have a Song that's entirely theirs.

If you do want to own all the mares in a Song, there's several ways you can get your own!

- random draws
- the occasional contest
- getting a breeding from someone else's Song (there's several 'open' Songs that you don't need to ask permission to apply for a breeding with, and I find that most people who require permission are happy to give it)
- commissions (when they're open again.. soon!)

So yeah ^_^
