Would it make it better if they were Order-aligned destruction? (because the Stonescale one is--just hasn't figured out his name yet).

the Twelve are 'split' into three groups, Chaos, Order and Balance, though they are all primarily Balance to begin with (it's Balance/Destruction/(either order/chaos/ or nothing due to balance overlap)/whichever other thing they might be. Dark's is Balance/Destruction/Chaos/Trickster. Lan~ri~ki's is Balance/Destruction/Order/Light. They do know how to behave on someone else's world. Even Lannie, though she gripes about it. ^.~

Destruction works though. It kinda goes hand in hand with Aaron's old nickname; arretia (arretayia? arg! I forget my own language!) which means 'caution'. Aaron used to be the biggest clutz in the Warren. Couldn't take a step without knocking something over.

Would this destructive force be malevolent though? Or just happen-stance?

Oh, definately not malevolent. Death happens. Destruction happens. Things break down.

Destruction isn't good or evil, it's neutral in their world. It's not Order and Chaos fighting each other, it's Order, Chaos and Balance working together.

They'd be a little confused about chaos and destruction being 'evil'.
