I won't be doing any traveling this weekend, since I'm skipping the Scapegoat Concert and the Rum Bash

in order to helpout in the yard. So I will hopefully update some this weekend.

Today is the deadline for posting the Citadel hatchlings, unless you need more time. Cy (Kruhynd, Mehsth, Racuil), StarFyre (Maiai), and Shard (Xiophe) I haven't found pages for.

But don't worry too much on it, I probably won't remember to check again for another couple days. ^_~

However... It seems as though my email to another candidate was ignored or forgotten, and if I don't hear from this person tonight, I'll have an abandonling. I've already had some people say they'd give it a good home, but I'll see what it comes down to tonight.

Ranum and Requiem's Dance has been posted - the story for the hatching will include everything since it was a closed flight to begin with. The deadline will appear once I get a sketch or two done for the clutch, so start plotting submissions and read the revamped rules! ^.^

Another quick notice - I decided I just couldn't pass it up. ^^ There is a backwards-esque flight also up on the Sanctuary boards, for Sil's Aldyss. He's a sweetheart. ^_~ Anyway, interested females may apply there if they're interested in something a bit out of the ordinary. ^^

Unfortunately and much to my dismay, there is an abandonling from the first Citadel Rage. ;_; A candidate was sent to me by someone outside the Nexus, and though I emailed this individual with the pickup and everything, I never heard a word in reply.

The youngling has not been posted, nor do I have any info regarding why. Makes me terribly sad. So, with some helpful suggestions from several Nexus members, I am holding a contest. I don't know how long to run it. I'm thinking like a week or two since people are busy with upcoming clutch deadlines. (I know I am!) I'll announce the deadline when I figure it out. Anyway.

Basically, you write a story. I don't care where it takes place, but it must end with your chosen character being at the Citadel. This will be a rebonding, because in this senario, there's a good chance the hatchling will go insane without someone that closely linked. So it should be a character with no other major bonds. Your story may interact with any of the Citadel patrons and dragons, including the hatchling herself, but obviously, no decision will be made until I give the say. Only one person can give this baby a new home, so I'd like it to be a good one, since she's already so very traumatized.

A bit about the hatchling. Her name is Rane. (Anyone can go check her out in the hatchling pickup update from before.) She has three personalities - one per head, which is rare and odd in this case. She often snaps at herself, and after being left behind by her would-be bond, is a mental wreck, emotionally unstable and prone to crying fits. She avoids most everyone, except Mishuvel, who is her current caretaker - but Mishuvel is actively looking for someone to be a better choice for the hatchling. (As a story note, if the previous would-be bond is ever found in the vicinity of the Citadel, she'll be executed. Painfully. <_<;;)

That's really all I can offer for now. If you need any info at all, just ask. A character you already have written is fine, but I expect a story segment just for Rane, too. The little mentally-unstable terror needs some love. ;_; ~Doodles some stuff so she can get up a 'personel' page for the Citadel~

Contest for Rane is still open. Deadline will be the 21st of November, so submit stories if you want to try for her.
The story I approve of most for Rane with get her. I'm debating giving her a unique adult stage, but I haven't decided yet. Anyway, just FYI.

Working on adults, they should be going out soon.
The Second Dance - featuring Ranum and Requiem - now has a deadline! (Will be updated on the actual Sanctuary page soon.) The deadline for candidates (of bonding and sponsor types) is December 3rd. That's a little over a month, and it ends on a Saturday. Remember, there is no longer a candidate limit per person, but I am also not releasing the number of eggs laid. ^_~ Females are still welcome at Aldyss' Dance, and there are still plenty of male slots left in Goywuy's.

The contest to write a story for Rane's adoption has a deadline of November 21st. Only a few hatchlings still aren't posted, but they have time. The adults are being sketched on occasion but won't be done for a bit yet....

StarFyre and Cy and Shanie/Delyar STILL have dragons to post! If I don't hear from you soon regarding the status of said postings, you will lose your dragons! (I can give you extension but I need to hear from you!) StarFyre needs to put up her Citadel hatchling (Maiai)! Cy needs to post Citadel hatchlings (Kruhynd, Mehsth, Racuil) and Sanctuary adults (Dorailyken, Selem'Dryal, Shou'Medrianyth)!!!!! And.....Shanie/Delyar else needs to post Sanctuary adults as well (Fyira'Kilaios, Kobrinaan'Delath)! I'm very upset that all these dragons have been neglected like this, PLEASE contact me! If I do not heard from these individuals by November 27th either by post or by email, you will LOSE YOUR DRAGONS. ~Sigh~ That is all.
