His eyes are sky blue and piercing, too intense perhaps for his overall awkward and wiry appearance, but he's also not unattractive.
Personality: Raised as a Weyrbrat, with a nest of siblings older and younger that eventually became successfully Impressed, it came as no surprise to many that J'cor Impressed, too. He bumbled through Weyrlinghood with his unusual habit of getting any job done in ways that seemed awkward and accidental, and through this somehow earned a reputation of being a reliable rider. In his spare time he makes charts of anything, and would perhaps be considered artistic, if he ever bothered to try anything else. J'cor has a rather serious and tedious nature, tending towards being shy and quiet with people but opening up to his dragon like a plant to sun.

XD Actually, that was another one of those 'crap, dud eggs!' clutches, like Pehtaeo's! All of the eggs were laid at the same time and it must have been very cold (as I try to give IC reasons for a bunch of dice rolling X3) for a bunch of the eggs didn't hatch. Lorenodie, tough brute that he is and his sister (who's more a sickly sort, I imagine, and is staying at the Nidus) is the only one to have survived. :c

Since Impressing, it's quickly become apparent that Ekhaet is a natural leader; she seems to grasp wing formation and direction as if by second nature, and while she may grow wistful occasionally about being forced out of her chosen profession, she loves Duzrijiith and is satisfied with her current lifestyle. Ekhaet is the kind of woman who enjoys the great outdoors, though she would rather take her vacations far inland, as she has a bit of a phobia of large bodies of water.

Appearance: Celerise is a strange-looking creature. She stands upon tall, stilt-like legs that fold on several joints, giving her the ability to stand at human height or to rise much taller. Her body looks like a series of husks rolled together, and while wispy, silken layers may flap about her body in a breeze, she doesn't seem to shed. Her face opens up, a hollow filled with flickering fire. This fire wavers when she speaks, and a thin trickle of smoke always issues from the concave shape of her face. She looks monstrous, though she usually keeps folded down to avoid terrorizing people more than they already are.
Personality: Celerise is not the rampaging monster that she might first appear to be; she is a predatory (she feeds by lighting her prey on fire and sucking in the ashes it burns!) she is also quite civilized. She comes across as cold and inquisitive -- being one of the only people of her species to want to interact with humanity and the rest of the Nexus, this is a true enough assumption. Celerise does not regard the world in the same way that humanity does; her attention to detail runs deep, though she seems easily distracted as she flits from subject to subject.

He is polite, friendly, enjoys traveling (with others, more than by himself), is generous with the fruits of his labor, and knows a well-needed trade: metalsmithing. R'ael doesn't seem like the sort of fellow to work in the forge for long hours, however despite his wiry frame, he seems to be able to wield hammer and tongs in such a way as to produce very intricate items. Most of these are fanciful -- he enjoys decoration and works it into his practical pieces wherever possible.

Personality: K'lein is the kind of man that appreciates the simple things in life. He's the sort of jolly, good-natured man that everyone loves to be around, and with his great booming voice he is often, if accidentally, the center of attention in any given crowd. As a side question, in regards to winged wolves (since Nidus Corona has a rather large pack of them) would you guys rather I don't include them in this giveaway? I realize that they aren't dragons, and I would stipulate that if your character received a winged wolf in one round, you could apply again with the same feller for a dragon, but I know that they aren't everybody's cup of tea.

An alternative is that I could actually set up a proper wolfkeep that people could adopt from at their leisure, which would keep the little beasties out of this thread, but cause more work for me sooner than later. XD

I don't suspect that they will take over the thread or anything, but once in a while a few might crop up, if I let them in. I'm giving everyone in my Nidus equal opportunity to do their flight/catch thing, and I'd feel bad leaving the wolves out. XD

eta: JKat suggested to me that I could do another thread like that last giveaway, and thusly circumvent the whole 'making a wolfkeep and all the time that takes' thing. I guess I could have this thread for dragons and a similar one for wolves going at the same time, if people would prefer?

Unfortunately wolves to me are still pets. I'd prefer them in a separate thread, as I try to keep my amounts of pets down or at least do them with specific characters instead of randoms like I've been doing here.
