Yeah basically, up through the first week or so of every month we have a sign in list. If you turned in a piece on time the last month, you can apply for another round. If you're new and want to do some art you can apply because you don't have a back history to blacklist.

I just wish someone'd actually do mine this time... :/

and d'aw, i'll draw for one or both of you. XP crappy handdrawn art that's not transparent, but you can like, code a table around that. if you want. not for a monthly exchange, but for my own practice, and cuz i'm neww~

The sign up is in the beginning of the month. We put down what we want to get then they are mixed up and e-mails are sent out with who we draw for by Phe. You don't know who you have until you get the e-mail and you don't know who has your request until they post it.

*sits and waits for hers for this month* I'm courious as to how this one was inturpreted (urk on spelling...)

Well, those who failed to get one from the last month's exchange have their requests posted on the first page. Anyone can volunteer to draw for them. As for the current month, you have to apply at the beginning, then wait for Phe to assign you to someone. Then you have a month to complete it.

Well basically in a day or so, we'll have the next month's sign up so you should be on the look out for that.

And personally I don't care whether something's transparent or whatnot. I am not gonna stop you if you think you wanna tackle my sanger-dragon concept.

Basically with me, you really don't need to worry about 'getting them right' because the way I look at it, every single one is just as 'real' as my own - they come from another dimension/universe, where whatever it is is slightly different than the last. That's why I have so darn many, I keep encountering ways to turn him just a little and (hopefully) keep him interesting.

I have a dragonsanger, a shapeshifter really. However I also have a dinosanger, elf, and whatever else. It's whatever you might be inspired, I'd rather go with the character as you see fit, than to be constrained by just a dragon.

*looks sheepish* Um, yeah, I got yours last... or maybe it was the month before. ><;;; I'll explain everything once I get your pic up, but... it kind of got WAY out of hand. I ended up doing three Sangers instead of just one... ;>> (Again, you'll see why it's three wheen I get them up.) What's taking so long is I wanted to color it on the computer like everyone seems to like to do, and when I hand-color in pencil the color gets faded... *rambling* So yeah... I'm very sorry, but ... hopefully you'll like anyway? ^^

Jess! Sorry I cut it close. ^^;;;

You asked for.....some stuff that didn't wanna fit all in one picture for some reason. Ok, here goes.

Female? Yes, looks female to me.
Mother/Earth Goddess or Huntress/Moon Goddess? ....I think I was going for the Moon Goddess.
Earthy-tones and metallic? I got the metal, and some of the earth, but not.....totally.
Furry and sleek? Ya.
Wolfish on the side? Ya.

So, like I said....I didn't mentally connect Moon Goddess and earthy-tones, though there are some.....so she kinda turned a 'moon-ish' blue....(with the earth below and night sky above, get it? ^^;;;;) And ended up multi-limbed but still fast since I can see a huntress representing herself with some sort of weapon....
And she's got....a lantern....that's kinda glowing..... When I drew her, I believe I was thinking, 'Hey, let's be all symbolic, maybe she carries the moon's light in the lantern, and chases after the sun everyday?' or something weird like that. Obviously, depending on your use for her, you can be as symbolic or not as you want, have fun with it. XD
And I doubt she needs wings to fly, if she wants.

*Jaw drops* Wow! That is lovely! And the color is fine, I kinda threw the moon goddess on as an "I don't really want to request the exact same thing 2 times in a row" and forgot to add some extra colors for her.

I think she will work nicely for what I had in mind, and being a centaur-type body will add an interesting twist to the story. Didn't expect that, but definitely like! Hopefully I can actually get this story actually to a page...

And my image will be late, unfortunately; I haven't had the best couple of weeks, and I'm not quite done.

Apologies - I'm going to have to be blacklisted this month. With my mother and sister fighting horribly lately about whether or not to put my dad in a convalescent/elderly care place, and my sister blaming the fights on me (somehow), I haven't had time to finish coloring my May image :{ I'm sorry. Eh, a little late - would have had it done earlier but I didn't have access to the scanner until like seven and Ghost Hunters was on. ;_;

Well, IceCat! I have a nifty dragon for you!

It was really a challenge and took me all month to figure something out. I tried and tried to do a pufferfish dragon, then gave up and started on a ghost-ly dragon... and ended up adding spines like pufferfish. XD I tried to base his coloration off of a pufferfish's coloration(working from memory).

I figure his abilities are something like this - telepathy, poison breath, ability to float(like a ghost ^^). Feel free to change anything ya want. ^^ Those 'spines' are usually limp, but he can puff himself up so they stand on end and make him look more impressive? Heh, he amuses me greatly and I kinda wanted to keep him. Those chains drove me nuts, but I like how they turned out.

It's a png, if you'd prefer a jpg or a different background color let me know... I haven't figured out how to make something like this transparent yet.

I think for transparent stuff in PSP and Photoshop, you just leave the background blank so the boxes still show and save it, making sure you find the part where it asks you to save it with a transparent background.

And Phe, I love the glowing wings and stuff!
