One thing, though... these guys are live-birth... despite Drak heritage, that wouldn't help K'lemia actually lay eggs. Then they'd bond a day or two after being born.

Sorry... I completely forgot that... I'd best do it now... It's mostly a variation of the normal Mirus info, but...

They're livebirth, as I said. They bond within the first three days... I figure this 'hatching' is going on during their second day of life. Because of being half Drak, they're more pro-active in seeking their bond, if they're bonding. So instead of waiting to be touched, they could easily be properly searching with their minds for their chosen bond. Or not, if you choose to write it that way; some need to be touched first, others will know if their bond is in the area. For sponsors, it's mostly a case of picking one from the nest that hasn't been bonded; choose your favourite little ball of fluff!

They can't talk at first, but those with Limited Mental Speech should be able to make themselves clear to their bond/caretaker, if not to anyone else. Because of their Drak heritage, they're a bit more independant at this age than purebred Mirusans. They'll start learning words quickly, and should be able to talk properly by whatever methods they have by a few months of age.

They're born with their eyes closed, like Mirusans, but they grow up a bit quicker because of the Drak genetics, so within a few weeks they'll have their eyes open and be able to walk, run, play, get into trouble, and so on. For diet, they'll enjoy a mix of meat to eat and milk to drink for the first few months, then onto a fully meat diet.
