Ooh, new images! Last chance to get the old ones, then?

Once I'm done my mountain of homework and birthday shenanigans I will have to write something up. XD

This time of the year there's always so much candidate writing to do for the Nexus!

Well lookit that, Jyyri's all grown up... at least in body! Wolves are notorious for growing up quickly so that they look like adults while still thoroughly pups in mind!

*drool* I love those wings, especially on the brown wolves. Must have taken ages, but it looks *so* good!

One day I will make an albino, just for the pink nose. XD

Shard: 8D Yes you should! I would totally adopt from you if you did!

Thanks Kitsuneko! XD From the timestamp of the first one posted I've been working on these mostly nonstop, so it has taken... D: Too long! Next time maybe simpler wolves!

JKatkina
Looks like Hiyrea was the runt in addition to being the last puppy that anybody wanted... it took her longer than any of her siblings to grow up! All that love and affections seems to have helped her grow strong though, as she's become one tough cookie!

And Eshin's page is updated! I forgot to mention it earlier, but I also love how even the white wolves have subtly different markings. :)

*giggles* We all know that Schroeder secretly has an almanac of everything, past, present and future. XD I'm sure he made the right choice~!

Glad the white markings showed up! XD I liked the thought of having individual wolves despite the 'all one colour' thing. :3

Thanks for the links!

*grins* I feel your pain in coloring these guys, Dray. Trust me. LOL I also vary the white with other colors/pigments. *nods* Not even Segs is pure white.

I love the common gray ones...XD

I had no idea that 'common grey' meant 'mixtures of the other colours'. I just thought it was another variation, like when someone smacks a 'Night Brown' to their brown dragon in order to make it new and rare and different. >_>" Except... in reverse.

Heh...ah. Common gray is what most wolves look like and, if you look at a real wolf's pelt, you can see just about all those colors (give or take a few) in there fur. That's why I stuck that on there. "Common gray" is just a term I gave it. I would say a common gray is a wolf that has a dark top-line, white or light colored underbelly and paws, and a mix of colors/shades between there. :P So yeah, technically it's kinda like that, it just comes in MANY shades and varieties. XD

Out of curiosity, say that you have like a copper and a gold wolf breeding. Would a common grey from their litter have more shades of gold and copper, or would they just be the usual mishmash of grey/black/brown/white that you see in other places?

Or say if there was a dalmation (I'm thinking of Eaaril's gits) x something, would there be more splotches?

In short, is common grey something completely separate, or is it a mixture of the parents coats with some darker and lighter shades mixed up into that?

Dunno...honestly. It would be genetics, I think, or just what ever we decide. I'm not even sure how all that is decided in real wolves. >.< Of course, i think a lot would depend on the breeds. If it's two Elruvian wolves, they tend to have more solid coats while if it's a Reririan/Elruvian cross, there could some common gray's in that litter. *shrugs* for now, i have no way to answering that because I stink at creating codes for these guys. LOL ;)

I have one white wolf (adult-sized but still a juvenile) to give away to the first taker! They will need either a caretaker (can be another wolf) or a bond. Just post your caretaker/bond link here and let me know that you want it. Examples can be seen in the posts above.

If you didn't happen to get in on this freebie, never fear! I will be giving more away in time. ^_^

Stories aren't required -- this thread is a lot like the dragon one!

When I have more than one to give away at a time, I may require stories, or do some little event like 'fill out this questionnaire' or 'pick a number' or maybe something from the other adoption forums like 'musical chairs' or 'hot potato' or something. XD This time it's a plain old 'post something first and you get it' schtick!

That said, Streea can bring home for Sholeh's inspection:

:D Yaaaaay! Aww, she reminds me of the white husky mix I had when I was younger. *loves on* Thanks Dray, I hope you don't mind that I probably won't be able to stick her on a page for a bit. I'll do my best to do it ASAP (along with my second dragon from your giveaway >.>).

Another litter from Jeyyea Alynn and Hyriu Aller. XD Those two just seem to have the best luck with pups!

Something different this time: No info about the pup, just pick your top three favorites (along with a link to a caretaker). I will give out the first four (pup and adult), and keep whatever two are left.
