Wanna input on a new Pernese Weyr?

It's a beautiful name, and it does tie together all of your previous projects within the same theme, so this new locale wouldn't run the risk of feeling disjointed. Are you going to be closely allied with another Weyr? If you're feeling ambitious, you could possibly tie in your Weyr's new name with theirs, like Black Sun or Black Gold if you were partnering with Dark Moon.

Of course, now I want to play around and create my own new words. I love fantasy languages.

Hmm... and it looks like Aster could roughly be worked out to Poliv (Star Flower) or maybe Poltaya (Star Catcher) in this language, while Corvus could be Eltanisel (Black Wing). Nifty, though I wish it had a larger word selection. =)

Just a note on the Lights/Nights/Twilights -- I always intended them to be ranked by their primary color (Light green = green, Night Blue = blue, Twilight Bronze = Bronze) with the secondary color (white/black/silver, respectively) being a beauty thing. At any rate, the Nexus changed it in the organic way dynamic settings do, so they're minor specials.

Seiryuu's Dawn/Dusk dragons are, to a degree, my fault. I was going to school with Quachir at the time and totally told her she couldn't hatch "my" Lights and Nights from her Weyr, because they were Ryslen's "thing." (Obviously, I've outgrown that.)

While Nidus Ryslen isn't -on- Pern anymore, it still (by some freak Nexus-y chance) can be gotten to by land/sea/air from Pern by going to where it -was- on the Southern Continent. It'll be there when you get there, with it's population of bizarre colors and breeds. (Yep, you can just walk into Mordor... er... wait... >.> )

XD Hence the reason I made gene for Lights/Nights available, really, only if they were of Ryslen stock or whatever and they're hard to get otherwise. I'm sure it can be /carried/ by other dragons but, yeah, if a dragon's bloodline is known and it has a dragon hatched at Rylsen, expecially if it was a light/night, they have a better chance of having an Ll alelle...or ll if they're light/night. XD

Funny, to mention Mordor when Falas is actually Tolkien-elvish for "shore" XD And I know I got Rerir from a Tolkien book, too...hmm...can't remember.

I like the name, Tiiyn. Never read the books, though.

BTW, Tiiyn, here is the Timeline for Falas Weyr in the 10th Pass. The 11th Pass is not liking the idea of becoming a PDF so...it'll have to wait. *glowers at it* If it decides to stop freezing when I ask it to become a PDF, i'll post it here, too.

You don't have to follow it. I always really use this just for my little personal use 'cause everyone goes off and does there own thing.
