Whoo...I wrote that story tonight when I realized I was almost going to miss this! The story sucks, because I wrote it in such a hurry, so please forgive me for that. Kinta's story relates directly to Kifivia's story (her page is linked in Kinta's personality info in case you want to read, though Kifivia's story isn't entirely up to date with Kinta's...which is of course what held me back on writing Kinta's story...

Question? X3 You gave most everyone a Skilled level, but not Eyes of Stars' hatchling, but you also said the silver one was the only non-Skilled in the batch. What's mine's level? ^^

And I'm glad he's not Skilled, Kinta would have had a hard time dealing with a little baby dragon learning magic when she kinda half-despises magic... XD

Awwwww! My little one is soooo cute! I'm working on their story, but her little pic is already up, on Nare's stat page. No name yet, she hasn't picked one, but we haven't quite gotten to that part in the story, so she should have one soon. *snuggles the baby*

Her name's Star of Day XD I liked that in her hatching message, so I kept it. It seemed to fit nicely : ) Left the level of her Skill blank, until I hear from you ^^ I'd like to have a story, but that will have to wait until the synth Yesinal is standing at hatches, I think. Hopefully before the two-week deadline!

Oh, lemme know if the height is wrong, I guessed based on the "large dog" thing on the site >.>

Yay! I'm so glad everyone liked their babies. ^.^! Sorry I haven't been around much, school projects are still eating my freetime. *sheepish* And now, to individual questions:

Caco: Er. ^.^;;; I kinda meant that he was the only non-Skilled lacewing of the bunch. Sorry 'bout that misunderstanding, I need to learn how to not write stuff like that if I can't be more clear. *facepalm* Basically, if it doesn't mention that your Saa is Skilled in the notes section of the pickup page, assume that they aren't. *more sheepishness* It's alot easier to explain sudden powers in-story than a sudden lack thereof, anyway.

Xalia: *RELIEF!* I was hoping as much. That's just the way the stats rolled themselves. ^.^; Though it woulda made for an interesting conflict to write if he -had- been Skilled. X3

Nessie: Yeah, you name 'em. ^.~ Saa don't come with their own names like some other dragons. XD (And those in the valley tend to name half-Saa that stay with them after the other parent, since they have absolutely no naming conventions of their own. *amused*) *love for Soft, BTW. <3!!!

Oh yeah, and a couple notes that may or may not be well-stated in the info sections...

Height/Size: Hatchling Saa will be about a foot long from nose to tail, maybe half as tall at the shoulder. Fully grown Saa averages range in size from 3 to 5 feet (LARGE dog... like a super-great-dane. XD) at the shoulder, and are 3 or 4 times as long as they are tall. Some are larger or smaller, but that's the norm.

Skills/Abilities: Unskilled Saa can speak vocally and telepathically, but that's pretty much it. Skilled Saa can do that, as well as levitate, even if they're Grounders and can do no actual magic.
Skilled lacewings (except Grounders) work with natural forces (most commonly earth and air, though they can manipulate any element they so desire), and are normally quite proud of that 'natural magic'. Non-lacewings work with 'pure magic', basically just weaving whatever they want together out of magic itself rather than relying on any particular element. They don't work well with elements, in fact.
Grounders of the lacewing variety can pull energy from any element they so desire (usually picking one and sticking to it, again normally earth or air) and 'feed' it to another Skilled, lending power. Non-lacewing Grounders do the same thing with pure magic energy.

So.. er.. yeah. Hope that helps! ^.^;; It's kinda late, and my brain is refusing to work propperly. >.>;;;;;;; And sorry again for whatever confusion I may have caused!

Oh I'm sure some of them are related, but we'll never know which ones. XD; They just sorta gathered up all the eggs that were due to hatch at about the same time and stashed 'em all in the community nest. However, even if they're not related brother-sister, they're really all cousins at least. ^.^;; Small gene pool there.

Erm... so the deadline was up last monday or tuesday. ^.^; Needless to say, I haven't been able to check on you guys until now, but I will just say that whenever they're up, they'll grow. So get those hatchlings up and ready to grow! If they are ready to grow already (meaning they're up and have as much about their personality written as you're going to write before they grow, whether as story or in-depth stats) let me know, and I'll do just that. *salute* Also, the more effort you put into their personalities (in story form or otherwize), the more I will put into the adult image.

Lyonell was the first to grow, and so you can see the general adult quality of a hatchling updated with as much story as he got. X3

My baby's up... three chapters of story (chapters 5-7) and a personality desc ^^ She's got a pet, too... which was a bit random, but hey, there's a lot of those hunter cats running around the anory, and she liked that one, so.... XD

My little girl has been up almost since the hatching, but her story is not quite ready for growing. I'm working on it now though, so it should be ready very soon
