XD Oh my god these guys are gonna be cool! And every stage will be a shade (ba dum ch!) different! Sil, would you like more or less heads?
And here's the first completed hydra! If you'll notice, I added her name along her tail so that it'll be easier to track if/when her image gets stolen.

There will be a clutch of five going out as soon as one of two things happens (according to what I prefer). Either I finish the V Dance or I get all the templates coloured, shaded, and edited to my liking.

Lets play a game! It's call "spot what's wrong with the hatchling before Mystic tears her BLOODY HAIR OUT!"

Holy moly, I love your new hydras!
Spectacular and evil looking.... >D
Lessee, for the baby - which looks fabulous by the way. I am not sure if the ribcage circle and the hip circle should be the same size, but without a reference picture of some sort in front of me, I couldn't tell you which. *grimace* Sorry. However... you might try making the neck look more feeble, such as just a bit more scrawny - newborns always look like their heads are way too big. You may want to nix the teeth... I am not familiar enough with Hathian breeds *sheepish* but most dragons/reptiles would have an egg tooth instead of actual teeth. I really hope I don't sound too nit-picky... they're just suggestions... ;.;
Oh, I thought I should mention. That tail. It's so small and cute! It reminds me of The Land Before Time (the first one)... I haven't seen that in years, but it used to be my favorite movie, and seemed a good enough reference for dinosaur-type animals. :3 I was wondering if you used that, or other dinosaurs for some reference material?

Ooooh! Egg-tooth! Good idea! Hee... these are gonna be cute little beasties. I made the chest and hip circles about the same size cause I wanted it to look like it's got a bit of baby fat. Remember that these things can walk and run as soon as they're out of the shell. They have snacks to chase down! Hmm... I think I'll take out those big chompers but they'll still have teeny, razor-like teeth to tear through flesh.
For enlarging the paws, should I change just the forepaws or both?

Oh yeah, no reference material. I'm pulling this all out of thin air, so to speak. >.> Except for positioning on the shoulders. I looked over a few hatchling and dragon images that I liked to get the right angle for those.

I agree with the others about the paws, the hips and chest circles look fine to me...
It is a BEAUTIFUL baby, Mystic!
Only thing I'd suggest is making the lower jaw taper a little more. I compared it to the adult hydra. 0.o Looks a bit clunky. But if you want it like that, that's fine too. ^^ I STILL love it.
And I'd want less heads, Mystic. >> I always ADORED the blue and black majestics. More than the Chaoses.

XD Oh good, cause the chaoses are nigh on impossible to get! The highest I've given out so far is a 29 headed Majestic I think. Tonight I'll work on hydra b-day presents.

I don't need that many heads. XD Can be a lower-ranked Majestic.

They only go down to about 26 heads. :3 Here's the rules so you can pick and choose.

Yesss, egg-tooth. I love those, so cute. ^^ <3 Baby fat is a good idea. I think a lot of us (well I do anyway) forget that in the dragons. I vote for big feet all around, not just on front or back only. The adult may have bigger forelegs/paws (depending on build) but I think in general the baby wouldn't be developed enough yet. Little reference material? You rock. Seriously.
Birthday gifts? Did I read that correctly? *rubs hands together cackling* Birthday in Noveeemberrr... >3
Rawr, just Rawr. My bipedras are going to 'love' your hydras. XD

49 heads! (Not really)
A 26-headed, blue and black Majestic if you don't mind. >> Gems don't really matter.

XD The easiest way to lure Nae-nae back into my clutches! Well... that or dangle Faust in front of her. *ties Faust to a string and goes fishing*
Nessie, there's always the clutch coming up. :3 I just gotta kick myself into gear and get the V Dance out.
