Oooh, I love the cerberus-rukel (hykel? rukdra?), and well... all of them! ^^ I've always loved Rukels. :3

The green one (that you thought no one would guess) I was thinking of as being possibly a werewolf since it's howling... but for the tail. I remember seeing a dragon with that tail. If only I could remember whose dragon, and what species it was... ><;

How about a cockatrice/(what's the other one?) rukel. One's like half rooster, half snake. Depending on how the story goes... one's hatched from an egg, sat on by a frog... I'd really have to brush up on the particulars, but I always thought the creature itself looks neat... (plus meh zodiac sign is a rooster, so shoot me. XD )

Wood, water, etc. fae would be neat to see. Regular fae too... I'm not good with the names for these either, but it might be fun to see the difference represented by the various elements. :3 (leaves/vines, water/bubbles, bug wings/sparkles, etc.)

I ramble. Second cuppa joe shall get my brain working tip-top I hope. XD

Basilisk, or whatever?
;-; she's even got a naga-type rukel.
;-; they're all awesome, bloody awesome.

Norse mythology rukels, maybe? Fenrir, loki's-son-snake, Slepnier or however you spell his name~

Neishai: The green one is based on Cusith, from...Scottish/Irish mythology, I believe. Not sure, but somewhere in that general area. It's much like a barghest or black dog, except dark green in color and has a braided tail. (^^ hee!) Supposedly it howls to round up human woman to provide milk for faerie babies.
The dragon in question is mine, also inspired by the same myth: http://geocities.com/darklingdawnweyr/ean.html

I'm thinking I may do a cockatrice and/or basilisk rukel. Not sure about the Norse mythology ones, though. And I guess I'll do a kirin rukel too.
Darkling Dawn: Fauna Frenzy Open to candidates; flights open to males/females; rukel eggs/breedings available.

Basilisk. Thank you. Ugh. I had my second cup... and promptly fell offline. Then fell asleep. O.o; Whee. Anyway! How lovely... Irish myths are wonderful and strange. I really should brush up on them. I have a book dedicated solely to Irish myths. ^^ I think a kirin would be neat, but since it is similar to a regular unicorn who knows.

Has anyone heard of a carnivorous unicorn? I heard once that some were like that but can't seem to find which legend that was from. They had canine teeth and almost a reptilian tongue to go with their taste for meat if I remember correctly, as well as the cloven hoof, if that helps. I haven't read up on kirin to see if that was the one or not...

*rubs head* Now to find something to wake me up that is not coffee... >>

I MUST HAVE THE ONE WITH THE FIRE ON IT. SO PRETTY.

*flailgrabs for it*

XD

I love the naga-style one, too. (one with the snake-tail, I think that's the creature it's based on.)
