D: If they're abandoned, they can come hang out at the Ranch of Doom! I love these guys too much (XD And their generic personalities! Bua ha haha!) to want to see them vanish!

I meant to reserve a place for me at otakon, but it's too late for me now. X.x i have summer school anyway~ ;-;

Though if the time i might just break in. My friends did that last year. it's unlikely though. ^^;

I'd take one too, if they go up. I ADORE them, i wish i'd gotten here sooner. ^^; Though I know fo ra fact that Neishai is on vacation at the moment, so yeah. :/ Wait till she gets back? Dunno where the others are. -looks in the absecnes forum-

I actually just talked to Lakota there the other night. She's been having a really busy time with her family's business, and hasn't had a lot of time to catch up on anything.

Oh, Sherra, I didn't even see your post. ^^;;;

I've cosplayed for.....this'll be my fifth year straight and I'm actually happy with it! :D;;;

I will be dressed as Saber from Fate: Stay Night (anime version, fully armored). XD I dunno if that'll be a mass-popular one this year so if you want, when I'm done (OMG two weeks left to FINISH!) I'll post a picture. <_<;;;

Is anyone still interested in the Citadel's little 'writing' thing for the remaining hydra-beasts from the first clutch? Just curious. ^^;

If not, I'll be inclined to writing up my own plot for them and dropping them in some peoples' laps. ^_~

I think I answered this before, but your story can take place anytime between 'teen' and adult. Because they didn't bond, they're not mentally disturbed (at least not more than 'normal'). My characters at the Citadel are available for story-ness, but you might want to ask me specifics if you intend on writing for them. ^^;

XD I got that part! I was asking where they would be. Like, is there a specific place? A sponsored-hall? Dragon-style dorms to keep them in? Where would a meeting between a potential sponsor and one of the unbondeds take place?

As Lakota never got back to me about Nashai, I have an abandoned dragon to deal with.

For anyone interested, I am going to require writing for this. I'll leave it open for a few days. Interested participants should PM me stating their interest. After I have a list (even if its only one person) I will post a 'deadline' of sorts for those specific people to finish their stories and PM me with them.

Nashai will then go home with someone else.

All participants who finish their story will get something - just to be fair so you don't waste any effort - and Nashai's choice will get to take him home.

I will allow the prelim signups (remember, just letting me know you want to participate) until Thursday evening or Friday morning. Depending on how many sign up will determine the next story deadline.

For the interested (if you want to start right away) here is the prelim storybit for Nashai, as well as some key individuals that can be found near him to interact with. The abandonment is not actively publicized, so visitors or rumors would likely be the source of outside information. Interested writers are encouraged to write out interactions with Nashai, keeping in mind his currently fragile state. He would be between young and teen in age at the time of this story. (The 'winner' will recieve both hatchling and adult stages immediately.)

DF sighed, tapping her fingers along the wall as she walked. She had known the instant it happened - one of her precious and beloved children had lost his way. And it was with all haste and speed that she had sent someone after him.

It hadn't been more than a few hours when Gilgamesh returned, carrying the dragon-child - who was too distraught to walk on his own.

They had been tending to him since. DF sighed again. He'd held himself with a noble air even from hatching. Now he was a broken wreck, a shade of his former self.

Hayate would have to be notified. She would forbid him from taking direct action against the one that had caused this....but he deserved to know as well.

And then there was the matter of what would happen to him next.

And 'key people' for reference.

DF: Also known as DragonFlight. Original name Brigid (her entire name is a sound-and-spelling mimicry of my own name - her real name is -not- common knowledge - very few individuals know it - just didn't want you thinking she didn't have a real name as a character XD). DF acts alot like me. ^_~ She is pretty much in charge of Moon Silver (her part of Seshei, Kynn's underwater city).

Jehtt: Full name Seiynn Jehttatura Rhakirri, prefers to go by Jehtt. He's of the same 'halfbreed' race that DF is, though he does look rather different. (Description available at request.) He's a childhood friend of DF's and works with her closely in her work, offering whatever support he can. (Note: Magic does not function in close proximity to Jehtt - his presence supresses and negates magic.)

Gilgamesh: A close 'associate' of DF's, he does whatever little jobs he can for her, and is rather amiable and patient, even around strangers. He resembles an anthromorphic dragon (moreso than being bipedal, he's only partially digigrade anyways, and also has no wings). His right arm is entirely cybernetic, right down to his fingers. He can be seen in random places and doing random things. (Note: Gilgamesh is entirely mute - he cannot speak, and he does not have telepathic capabilities. He communicates through writing (he knows several languages) and also knows the Kynnese form of sign language, though the latter will likely be incomprehensible to foreign visitors.)

Shan: Yes, the spawn of Shy, twin to his sister Shya. Shan is frighteningly intelligent for his age, but that doesn't stop him from acting like a kid. He also prefers his hairstyle and clothing in a very similar fashion to that of his father, which is a bit scary when you consider how young he was when DF ended up with him. At this point, he'd be approximately 7-8 years old. When he is not studying all he can about DF's work, he can be found up and down the halls (and potentially the streets outside of DF's towers) riding around on Shion. (Shion is Nashai's brother and will be of matching age.) Be advised - both individuals are hyperactive when together. You have been warned. >3

ouu, nifty idea. How long/of how much quality does the story have to be? I leave in two days, but i can try to write something up, in addition to all the other crap i plan to do. -nodnod- <3 I saw the clutch nashai came from when i first got here and wanted one, so i'd be a fool not to try.

so yeah, sign me up tentatively if they don't have to be that long.

Oh yeah, I mention, obviously there has to be a character involved in the story that appears as a potential rescuer/bonder/sponsor/whatever - I have set no limitations on who or what this can be. Nashai may rebond, or he may not, it all depends....

I'm going to PM you, as I'm definitely interested--however, do they have to be candidates, or can they sponsor?

Also, I remember that info on the underwater city was offered, earlier, but I either skimmed it or just... kind of didn't get it. XD Could you explain how our characters could get to visit him, again?

It was in the special event post I think.

You can reach it via specialized transport from the Citadel of Shadows or Sanctuary of the Sun, or even swim if you want. It's off the coast of one of the continents.
