To your dragon, their first mating flight was:
All about the competition.
Valroth's first flight, even though he's a good sized bronze, would end in failure but he and I learned so much from it. How to power-climb and turn with the queen, how to keep browns from bothering him, and more importantly what kind of queen to chase. Too big or experienced and there's not much chance for a young dragon; but too young and proddy and there could be mid-air collisions and confusion. Maybe next time, Valroth.

Lumith is a green, and what do greens do best? She can be a smart-ass, doing circles around the bigger dragons... but she's good on the wing. I'm proud of her.

Tell yourself to buck up and get the sharding thing over with. After call, they were assigned to me so I have to sharding finish it no matter what I would rather do. I don't want the Candidate Master to have anything bad to say against me when it comes time to touching the hardening eggs in hatching sands.

But, since it was his first time to participate, everything happened so fast that it was over before he knew it. Of course with the female dragon being a green, it was understandable that the flight would be over fast. But, at least, now he knows what to expect during mating flights and won't hesitate to join the next time around.

I've had a bit of an unexpected and unannounced Hiatus, lasting through Thursday this week. Thus no Monday LJ update, and there won't be one Wednesday, but I'll get those updates out late this week, as well as get the information from the Nexus's last update soon.
I'm in LA with my dad dealing with his melanoma, and it looks like I'll be in the midst of this for at least the next two weeks, but I have a few days back home when this week ends, in which I'll be taking care of as much business as possible.
My apologies.
