XD! well it's good to see I'm not alone. I'm glad I caught this when I did, I don't think I'd ever remember something from that long ago.

Myself, I've been trying to figure out where this one xeno I have sitting on my drive was supposed to go: it wasn't mine, it was actually Naeodin's, but since the 2k4 winter gather's pages were *completely* ganked by my moving them from one computer to another (I think I wrote them at work or something stupid) none of the image show up. it took me ages to realize: aaaah, okay that's not MY xeno.... >_> though of course, it's not actually up that I know of either... o.0

heh, you're right.... Mud? Y'want a holiday xeno from 3 years ago? ;^__^ I don't *THINK* it got put up, but then I have no clue. I searched by name, but not sure what really went on with it.

It really pisses me off that Yahoo ganked the entire winter_gather site, too. I don't really know what happened to it, but everything including the oldest of the old original 200...1? 2000? winter gather stuff was gone too, which was sad, because it was like, classic old-school weyrs and goods. Ah well.

Unless you know that this was put up, I can't see why not have it out there now.

Any known stats? i'm guessing any of the info disappeared with everything else, but I've seen this template before and I figure there's maybe some general stuff?

To my knowledge the only thing is the name - the name is in the file, along with the creator and type
Weihnachtess is the name.... though really I don't know whether it was male or female or what. I'm guessing it's a drone, though beyond that I have no clue what would be important to note.

This one's totally old-school. There were about... what, 4 or 5 of these for 2k4. Let's see:
Kalikimakass (copper/black)
Navidass (icy white)
Nicholass (white and red)
Noeless (white and red with striped tail)
Weihnachtess (this one)

I did that! :D (Oh lord have my xenos come a long way since then.) That would be a warrior if we go by the black base-color, but the christmas-xenos were wacky colors anyway, so it could be anything.

If you want to go by the "standard rules" I apply to any xenodragons I produce, its size would be in the 13-17' at the shoulder range, and the abilities would be:

* Acid Immunity: Xenodragons are immune to acids.
* Acid Blood: Xenodragon blood is incredibly acidic, able to rapidly eat through most known organic and inorganic materials.
* Mindstream Communication: The ability to communicate with all other xenodragons in existance.
* Resin Secretion: The ability to produce a hard, glossy resin that can be used as a building material, mostly for hives and cocoons.
* Telepathy: The ability to speak mind-to-mind.
* Wall-Climbing: The ability to climb and stick to any surface with ease.

Oh, and it's official color is "Holly-Black". :D I gave it and the rest holiday color-names.

Totally up to you. Fierce and violent and hive-minded has grown to be the default of the species, thanks to the movies (<3), but the original clutch of these guys actually had personalities of all sorts! (But then again, they were all based on characters from said movies, too. I got Bishop and Vasquez! </random>)

Tan skin seemed to be for drones while black skin was for warriors. Most xeno names also ended in 'ss', though with Sherra's clutches, a lot of that changed (Mayonaka's clutch lacked the 'ss' name ender. :( Her siblings and offspring seem to have the biggest clutches, too.)

Another fact: Terry and I started the tan drones/black warriors base in the big Mayonaka minifrenzy clutch. In the original xeno clutch at Serpent's Reach Weyr, both drones and warriors were black-based.

I have a game, though, were warriors are distinctly black and drones are distinctly brown, and when I told Terry this is got encorporated to the clutch and has pretty much stuck!

This, at least, is how I remember it. XD Could be wrong?

Evolving species, gotta love 'em.

Ahhh, that's where that came from! I didn't remember seeing 'em in the very first xeno-clutch, now that you mention it.

XD Next time I'll make brown drones instead of tan ones.

And it was only the non-sentient bursters that had mind sensations that appealed to senses other than sound, right? O.o' I'm all mixed up. XD
