I was beginning to write the reply that is there when my insane boyfriend came over and hijacked my keyboard, thus replying that he liked string cheese. I had to quickly edit it but I guess I was too late

And I'm at school right now and my bf was leaving and I had to sprint down the hall to show him your reply and i was yelling for him and a bunch of my friends were all sitting at a nearby table looking at me like wtf it was awesome

Little update:

Firstly Gen01C closes next Wednesday, and I don't have any Candidates at all at the current time of posting. If there's not enough by Wednesday, I'm not extending it. I'll just keep all the leftovers.

So, with that said, after Gen01C, I think I'm putting adopting out dragons on hiatus. There doesn't seem much point in running clutches at the moment. Maybe I'll look at continuing the Gens, but giving out dragons as and when the Candidates turn in. Maybe have each clutch up for a couple months or something. I'll give it some thought. It's just kinda frustrating putting all this effort into images and then having to beg for Candidates for them.

And to think earlier this week I was considering opening a second agency. Obviously that idea was rather ill-conceived.

I will, however, still be writing Candidates, which I'll prolly have more time for if I'm not running full on clutches. I'll prolly do a few little short ones this weekend, before moving onto something a bit more epic.

Finally, my webspace is currently up and running, but the server needs some maintenance so it may well be going down again for a few hours in a day or two. However, on the plus side, my ISP have just offered a free trial of their 8 meg Broadband (as opposed to the 2 meg connection I currently use), so once that's installed, Mirus will be much faster loading.

If I had the bloody time to write you some story-stuff, I'd do it, Shiolar. >:E It's kind of hard to sit down for a few hours to drag stuff onto the screen in any kind of readable manner when you're tearing your hair out over moving and creating shit that is the hinge for the next three years of your life.

I guess I just won't have time to send anything to you. Maybe by the time you get off your hiatus I'll actually be able to send something decent in. T_T

I know life gets busy and all, Dray. That's okay. I'd just thought I would've seen a stat sheet or something from someone by now. I've said often enough that all I want is to be able to see a character of some kind on the page.

Anyway, I'm sorry if I sounded... less tactful than I should have. I'm exhausted. I was up half the night trying to sort out the mess with Ebay and checking that none of my financial details have been stolen. I couldn't have slept while worrying if there's some guy running around out there with my credit card details. I've had a long, hard week at work, in a situation which is quite frankly way over my head. And there's a whole bunch of complicated stuff I really don't want to go into.

It's been a disastrous week, really, and I was hoping that at least my attempts to run a clutch would go right. Forgive me for being frustrated when it's not.

I'm sorry.

Thanks for thr Candidate though, Kitsuneko. I'll send one to you tomorrow, if I can.

It's been a pretty dang hectic week for all of us.

I hadn't realized that C was even open, I'm going to have to do something. When I get off work (for the last time probably) I'll try and get home to finish a couple more candidates.

I think they're all marvelous, as you well know.

Nope, that's right. The server was having it's maintenance done today (or more appropriately, a complete reformat from the ground up). Derion, and the rest of my pages, will be back up momentarily. I'm literally sending the files across now...

It's being a pain in the ass at the moment. Trouble with reformating is the blasted thing needs to be re-educated regarding communications with my computer. On the plus side, after the kinks today, it'll be stable for another six to eight months before it all has to be done again...

Update-ness today:

Deadline for Gen 01C is extended until next Saturday, which is 13th May 2006. All those cute, fuzzy little kits will bond then. Or maybe Sunday 14th. It largely depends on what mood I'm in next week, really.

After that, I'll be switching to a system where each Gen will be open for 2 or 3 months in total, during which time each Candidate will bond separately and receive their dragon as and when they're sent in. So that means if you're slow at writing, you still have a chance to get one, without making the faster writers wait for ages. And Gens will become available as and when I draw them. How does that sound to everybody?

Edit - Oh, and my site is down again at the moment. I know it's doing all that "access denied" stuff. Settings have been played with, and I'm moderately displeased. I'll fix it.

Oh, thank goodness. I had thought that yesterday was Thursday, and then when I found out that it was Friday, I was panicking because I didn't want to miss out on the deadline. Now that I've gone and paged all of my wolves, finally, I can get back to writing that story! :D
