True Facts!

Here's a very loose timeline of when the clutches at the Bower were hatched/born , after the first clutch. >_> Some of the breeds that went into this I assumed about 3 years to maturity, because I couldn't find information anywhere. >.> Later on there are numbers in brackets... they indicate when that particular clutch reaches maturity (so long as the owner of one of the purebreeds doesn't correct me, in which case, whoot, I can fix this danged thing.)

14W -- 54 years to maturity?

Time to breed some faster-maturing dragons into the white line and slower-maturing ones into the red and black lines?

I was thinking that! The white line got so long-lived because of all of the Askans that I was breeding into it -- Aven-dragons hit adulthood at about 60 years. XD

First I need to dig through all of the suitors to find some longer-lived black-types!

I didn't know Avens lived so long! (I should've been paying more attention!) Now I wonder how long it really HAS been between the Flurry clutches...

Is it too soon to start asking what the status (# of bonders/sponsors received) of the current BWR clutches is?

I generally look at any exterior-to-your-own breeding (using BWR dragon at Flurry, for example) in terms of time-travel and convienence magic. Heck, since the theme was "time" for the flurry, anyway, it shouldn't suprise anyone if they've got dragons hatched *after that flurry* there. ...

I need to dig out my computer to nab my files. :x I don't have a candidate page up and my 'BWR candidates' tab in gmail is empty, save for a story that JKat sent me this morning. (XD)

However, It says that the red clutch is full and the white clutch is 3/13 full, so I suspect that the red clutch will go out as soon as I've got my gear together. The white one may be a while. I remember working on the generator for the newest black clutch, but since results like 'glass' for colours were coming up, I was having trouble with figuring out how to colour something that's essentially transparent! XD I'll have to look through some tutorials or something!

*scramble* Gyah, the candidate I was gonna send in for that white clutch is still waiting on the Flurry. @.@; I suppose I could alter the story a bit and then write up some more for the Flurry, but if the timing is off for either hatching... arg.

I do have an alternate candidate... it's just not as perfect a match. *torn*

Also: Such awesome red bebies, Dray. <3 *disappointed to miss out on that clutch, but now even more excited for the next* ^.^

I was surprised to come back to this and see that the red clutch was chalk full already. XD I'm hoping to make the next red clutch fan-fricking-spectacular, so it may be a while before that one comes out.

In the meantime, there are still quite a few spots left for the white. 83 I'll post up a note when it looks like it's getting full, but if you need to wait on flurry shenanigans, that should be okay as well.

XD My bad; I never look over old posts unless someone directs me towards them... or there were links there that I need to go back over to begin with.

On a side note, with regards to sending in multiple sponsors/candidates (a couple of people have!) I generally don't take more than one per person.
IF, however, the deadline rolls around where several dragonets aren't going to be able to go home with anyone, I may open up the candidacy/sponsorship for the same people to send in a second form.

(Bah, does that make sense? XD It sounds convoluted.)

Otherwise, like with the xenowyrms, I'll just double-bond. :3

Aaand as a last resort, they'll wind up in the Graveyard, dead and gone. (Supply and demand is cruel~)

(There are still plenty of spaces left for both clutches, btw! :D They're going to come out next Friday in case you're waiting!)

Deadline Reminder!

Black Clutch Applications are due by Friday! (6/16 spots filled as of now)

Red Clutch Adults are due up by Friday!

White Clutch Applications say that they are due by April 15th... but that is of 2008, so consider applications for this clutch also due Friday! (6/13 spots filled as of now)

I will double bond some (the black clutch for sure) but some of those white clutch babies are going to wind up dying... they don't take as well to double-bonding as the black clutch! Red adults that aren't paged will also be the equivalent of 'betweened', so either toss me a note as to -why- you can't put your dude up (I will give you a 48-hour delay unless you're, say, gone for the week) or put 'em up! Non-communication ain't gonna help your cause!

(XD I know, I'm a bitch. I missed the poking and prodding that comes implicit with running dragon clutches.)
