Kamaeli seems to prefer fresh sugar snap peas, trying them any way I knew to prepare them and liking all of it. She turned her nose up at the red meat and the candy I offered her.

Teyngan, on the other hand, dove right away into the red meat, growling possessively whenever either of us got near him. Definitely a carnivor.

Why not? Yes, I'd love to roll into the waiting list. The LJ side just makes it all the more fun, watching everyone, and seeing all their responses. Warm and fuzzy is the feeling I get, watching/reading. =)

I had worried about leaving Calon home with a box of giant PixyStix behind my bedroom door and all the soda in the cabinet, but my animal-loving, tree-hugging little purple buddy has a strong tendency towards the healthy fruits and veggies. Peas in their pods are his favorite, but grapes and blueberries and raspberries are just as quick to vanish.

Noogie goes directly for the sour candy. Cherry Blasters, Sour Keys... mmm. He doesn't stop eating them 'til his mouth is raw and then he complains all day!

I fixed Chistery a burger (small one) for lunch, but he snubbed the meat in favor of the lettuce and onion on top, so I made him a nice salad instead with pea-pods and various other veggies to go with. He seems to like onions even more than the peas though, the extra-strong red ones! D:

Looks like it's time for a good toothbrush and some mouthwash.

ah, look at all the healthy eaters in this thread! Ecto's favourite anything seems to be fun dip. I try to teach her/him to lick the the candy stick and dip it in the powder like normal... but he/she just inhales the candy stick, dumps the powder on the floor and licks it up, causing a huge mess. What a weird kid!

Despite my wanting to introduce Sora to the importance of healthy snacks, he went right for the powdered candy (which is my guilty pleasure too).

I quickly found out that Sora is more interested in using the sugary stuff as confetti to throw at everything that moves (or doesn't) than he is in eating it. The carpet in my house will probably never be its original colour again. xD

Kurokongouseki loves lots of snacks and foods, but the one thing he really likes getting his paws on is sour candy..particularly those sour skittles.

Fine with me, since I'm not too big on sour candy myself, so neither of us has to worry abot sharing.

Oh man. The power just came back on (8:30 pm) after going out at 3pm yesterday, and I was so MIFFED that I knew this doubling-up was happening and I couldn't get at it. XD

So.

Do soybeans count as peas in the pod? Because that's what it seems Kaonashi likes to go after when it comes to being offered that variety. Not that he eats the pod--you don't do that with edamame--but he's very calmly methodical about carefully picking out each individual bean and eating them one by one.
