Well I'm going through Caledrus Hold, which I discovered never got my full attention in that I never did finish up a bunch of characters I meant to slap some freebies onto or otherwise get them paired up. So I'll likely be sending about 4 of them for whatever clutch they work best in. That's pending me cleaning up the whole rest of that section of the site, they're going to be moving from all_pern to their own directory. There's a half-written group story, and individual character writeups though.

Oh, goody. Because I need to see what I'm going to do with Kaia and what happens in Yenna's Adult story is going to depend on her. If she dosn't Impress I have other plans for her.

if she does all's good but just changes some course of events and how they happen.

And sadly...my website might go down again. Hopefully, when i get my loan money in, I'll be able to get my finacial situation under control. I appologize. I have $0 until next Wed...urg....

Okay I have a large group of people who obviously don't need to all either stand at Aneris together, but since you're open...

Since there are so many (there are 10, 6 f and 4m) and a story that kind of binds them together it'd probably be easier to link it here than load you with emails and forms.

The search is finished, however a lot of the weyrs that people were headed to have closed so the info may be a bit out of date on that. The story portions is only about half done, and won't be finished unless I absolutely get inspired to do so. It has a few of the characters and a bit of background / interaction but not all of them are there yet. I think I was moving, when I started writing it, actually, and never got around to finishing it properly because of that.

Caledrua She may think she's worthy of a gold, but then what snobbish Lady Holder doesn't? A detail-oriented girl, maybe fit for a small exotic or a green. Definitely not a blue or brown, they'd get her into too much danger.

Cendar A slightly less snobby, but much less focused Lady. She has no illusions, a gold would cramp her style even if it would go with her wardrobe. Aside from that, anything goes.

Sharnia A drudge but certainly among the more amazing in the Hold. Dedicated, steady, shy. A dragon of any sort might bring her out of her shell.

Torrey A higher-class servant, well organized. Might do well with a blue or brown, or even an small queen.

Montella A weaver's daughter, talented but painfully withdrawn in social settings. Perhaps an exotic, certainly not queen worthy material in her opinion.

Zoorita Journeywoman healer, but oh so not a weakling that fawns over people in a nursing home. She's very active, myself I'd choose a brown for her, something strong and fast that can keep up with her needs as well as those she cares for.

Ratar Zoorita's brother, highly empathic toward animals, and possibly dragons. Perhaps fit for an unusual dragon. Unlikely to elide his name, it's short already.

Kraen Strong willed, self reliant, confident - but also a bit weaselly in that he never comes out and says just what's on his mind. Personally I can see him equally on bronze or blue, whatever seems to suit him. Also unlikely to elide a short name like his.

Kasseran An emotionally distant and somewhat harsh man, but highly intelligent. Hopefully a dragon - any dragon - would bring him past his own limitations. If his name is elided, it would become K'ass since K'ran is too close to Kraen's name.

Dolren A tailor and habitual flirt, as well as attracting flitters by the dozen. I can't see him on anything more ranked than blue, honestly - he's not fruity but he's definitely flirty. His name would become D'ren.

Well, we'll definitely have a hatching soon one way or another. Seems like Kira is also working on a couple of candidates.

Shard, that is an amazing list. Do you have any particular wish for which clutches they stand for or do you just want me to try and find them the best match? I'm more than happy to take all of them either way. Just want to know if you have any specific plans for them.

Well aside from the suggestions I made, whenever their dragon comes up is good. If you think there's potential for any given one but not the right egg in a clutch just bump em, it's fine - they've waited 7 years, they can wait a little longer.

Looking over the whole list while I was working on the revamp I did cheat myself up a couple Eriol Backwards dragons, I still have about 4 of those that I could assign to random Caledrus folk, but I did take the black-brown and the gold because of their personalities (to Janice and Graapni) so that's 2 you don't have to worry about

I wanted Janice to have gold or a rare, but I didn't really want to keep writing - hers was a choice I'd made long ago (these characters are from my early teens, they're literally older than essentially everyone on this forum) that she and Hendar would be paired, and when he got a bronze I hoped she would be standing to find a gold somewhere... and everywhere closed. :/ So baddabing, Eriol gave away spares.

Sounds good to me. Do you want me to put them on the candidates page? I'll just go through them an dsee if any of them match this clutch. I'll definitely take your notes into consideration. Truthfully, I think I like having a large amount to pick from cause then I can match them more exactly.

And, as I suspected, my poor site is suspended again. *sighs* I can post her story else where like i did for Yenna if you still want it. Otherwise, you seem to hint that she might not Impress and if so (because she does step out of the traditional boundaries a bit), I can just pull her and have her Impress at Dark Moon.

I actaully have a plot in works for Dark Moon and decided Kaia was pivitoal in it. heh. *facepalms* To many stories, to little time...Nor could I type fast enough if I did have time!

Kira is still supposed to send me 2 candidates for this clutch, and with the group Shard has posted, I have no shortage of candidates.

My teacher told me to look into hostgator because of the features (that went over my head but he says sounds like what I would need for later at least), so I was pricing that. It can either be monthly or 6,12...ect months for about $8 (which is more than mine is now but this one is unlimited). Ive looked at others that run roughly the same, Site5 was about $6 a month. And yes, I have pay pal. I just haven't decided on a new host yet because I'm a month or two away from even trying my new budget plan...heck, Im pretty sure i'll be in the hole again in a few days and have nothing left come payday but I'm to the point where I don't care. If worse comes to worse, I'll risk riding my bike everywhere even if I don't have locks for it cause I won't even have gas money. *sighs* And yes, Shard, it's frustrating for me, too. At least Star gave me access to the nexusdragons one so you can see the work on the main-page site...heh.

*crawls under a huge rock and falls asleep* I hate leaving work early but I'm to frustrated and tired to care anymore...heh. >.<

Oh, and I would rather have Kaia Impress at a location not my own, Rhiannon. I'll throw her story up after my nap (if I remember) and if she dosn't Impress she dosn't Impress and I'll drag her back to Dark Moon anyway. She has options, even if she dosn't know it.

If she doesn't Impress this clutch, Yakima, I'm more than happy to roll her over into the next one. Her chances for a brown would be better in the next clutch since it's a Green flight, and there are likely to be more eggs.

And Opazath's clutch is officially closed. I'm working on the hatching now, and hopefully it will be done before day's end.

I think that clutch worked out pretty well. That white one was giving me fits trying to find her a match. I was thinking I was going to have to re-roll her and then I got the last two this morning. Sorry, Yakima. I started looking at what I had and suddenly the clutch was settled. However, I do think if Kaia doesn't mind sticking around that the right dragon may be in the next clutch. There are ten eggs after all.

Oh, neat! Good timing; my laptop's computer cord got a bad tear in it today, and I'm going to be more or less without internet for a day or two. I won't have time to page Kinneth immediately, but at least I got to read the hatching. ^^

I hope you get your cord fixed quickly. I've had that problem a lot in the past. It's never fun. Luckily, my latest lappy seems to be avoiding that trouble.

Feel free to send in as many males as you want, Shard. I don't mind in the least if there are more than five participants either in a flight.

Also, I've updated the clutches page so Rikceth's hatchlings are now listed as weyrlings.

When Lianith's clutch hatches, they'll be officially adults. So you can send in any of Rikceth's clutch for any flight currently on the board.

I can't really help you with the host thing seeing as how I don't even have my own domain, and I don't do half the complicated coding that you do. I wouldn't even know where to begin to help you find a new host for your sites. However, if there's anything that I -can- do. Let me know.

Well, i seemed to have more money than I thought, as bills I thought hadn't gone through went through so I think I can start catching up now.

I'm going to get my site either paid for today or switch. I'm sure I have some riders who can participate in flights...of course, I can't right now being my stupid site is down but I want to...Though, what Pass you're in would be great to know...From what i've read, you're in the beginning of the 10th Pass (alternate dimension from me but still there). If that's true, then I don't have to worry about time stuff cause Falas was founded near the END of the 10th Pass and is now in the 11th (Dark Moon will be moving and I have logical reason to do so so don't flip out on me.

)

I DO (and my situation proves this) want to really focus on getting my project finished for the Nexus site. This way, should I loose my site, records would be still there, species information would be there...even if wolf-mage.com vanishes on you (for good or temporary). I'm getting close to having to officially start that site. Mostly, it's going to be up to StarFyre after the design is apporved so if anyone wants to give input (please note data isn't what I care about...I just deal with designing the elemebts of the site. StarFyre has to do the "Hard" work...at least I consider it hard.

) If you have any design input, please let me know. I've posted a link under the thread for the site to a professional template site of psds that, if you find a design you like, style wise, and want to incorporate it, please, please let me know. I really do like those designs but if you like the one we have, i'm fine with that, too.

That seems right. I've never really considered the actual timelime at Aneris, but yes, that seems right. The beginning of the 10th pass.

Risers and chasers are always appreciated.

I've got three candidates from Yulara for this clutch, so I still need six more. I'll check through Shards -in waiting- ones and see who I have for the clutch as well.

Also, I've finally added a comment box to my form. I hope that will help with candidate submissions.
