Craft time! I love craft time! Calon took genuine interest in the origami paper (squee! I should post pictures of the dragons and gryphons I make) -- his paper crane didn't come out quite so crisp, but with nubby little arms... The next one will be better.

So I just found out that I'm going to be able to get out to the coast for a week and a half today, which means that Friday, next Monday and possibly the Friday after that I won't be able to make any updates!

Since I don't want to miss out on even one event, I'm going to be posting here AND on the LJ community earlyish tomorrow (since I leave early Thursday!) And I'll do as many replies to each as I can before I have to leave!

Just a heads up! XD

Man, I tell you, Maki is getting expensive! His favorite snack is definitely red meat. My roommate and I were having steak this weekend and he wouldn't even let us cook his! Turned out to be Raw Meat Sunday for Maki! XD

Kiai on the other hand wasn't happy with anything I had in the house. He turned up his nose at the red meat that Maki likes so much, and didn't want any of the sugar snap peas I offered him. In the end I had to take him to the store and he picked out a bag of sour candies. Blech! Those things are so sour I can barely stand them! But he seems to be enjoying them, so more power to him I guess! XD

Taeresi is a bit like his mom here, and turned his nose up at the red meat, to my amusement. He had a hard time deciding between the other three, especially since I didn't know whether to offer the peas in the pod cooked or raw. He sniffed around at them for a bit, taking his time, trying a tiny nibble of each, until I pretended to look away. As I did, I heard a chomping noise, and turned back to find him happily munching on the raw peas in the pod.

I'm rather pleased... my little one seems to like healthy stuff. Hmm... I'm wondering if he's a vegitarian, or just doesn't like red meat, like me!

I asked Tanis for his preference, and he decided he had to try all four before making a choice. He vastly preferred the red meat, lightly cooked. Now it's all he wants!

Tier 0: Like me, Nate goes for the red meat, just as long as it's not very red! XD Steaks can be medium or well, but anything else has to be very well-done ..as in, almost charred.

Kiryu has one heck of a conscience on him, he'd really rather be able to play mischievous pranks on others, but before he even got the chance to begin he'd feel guilty. So instead, he'd go around doing anonymous good deeds and enjoying his good karma. (though he might work in a few pranks on his arch nemeses, the cats)
