^^; I managed to finish some ref-pages of various characters, and though there isn't much dragon-stuff on them, I thought I'd share and see what you think! Also, man-fanny below, just in case that kind of thing bugs you! (It's nothing tasteless, just happens to be the way he's posing! >.>")

XD Naughty bit rating! Hee hee.... I must say again that I am in awe of your skill with these. I love the idea of ref-pages to begin with.

*squints* On good Agate, his one wing looks like it has more fur than the other one. Though that may just be angle. Although the fact that it's 2am and I just got back from work may be contributing to my skewed perception.

X3! Ah, didn't come up with the idea for ref-sheets by a long shot... everyone else was doing them, so I had to give it a try!

>.O You're right, though that piccie of 'Gate is awkward... I think it's because I drew his body first, then drew all of that fluff ontop, which really covered over any semblence of detail and... sense-making? XD He's supposed to be scratching his ear with one hind leg, the other's on the ground and mostly covered by one of his tails, while his left set of feathers is being pushed up and back, revealing the undersides, if that makes any sense!

X3 *wants to make an RP for the universe, though it'd probably be slow or sumut* >.> (to derail any thread-specificity) Should I be posting on the elf-thread, or waiting for everyone to take their turn before going?

X3 'Gate is so kyoot. I especially like the full dragonish one, and the pose is cute even if it is a bit confusing.

I'd love to see an rp with this universe--the idea is so cool. X3 And different!

o.o There's an elf rp I'm supposed to be on, isn't there?

XDD Well, I suppose it's different from typical furry-dragon/teknikat/large-animal RP's like I've been used to. ^^; Have to type up some world-info and character-outlines, perhaps, as well as some basic rules and yaddayaddayadda. 9_9' And then begins the long struggle of maintaining a message board! XDDD But it could be fun for a few weeks/months/years.

There is! ...Though I don't remember if you posted or not, already! I think we're waiting on Starfyre, perhaps. X3 I have to go read it again.

Do the wing plug ins actually have plugs or are those seperate? It doesn't look like there's any way to attach them from the drawing on Lykaly's sheet...

And I'd love to join in if you started an RP for Netscapes...

XD There are! I drew the wings really small and was having a hard time with outward-jutting parts, so I left them out. It's like... the parts on the back kind of suction onto the parts of the wing that're inserted, and then little nerve-connection bundles attach once the wing is firmly in place. X3 I'm sure that actually putting them on/in looks really gross, but it's entertaining.

XD That's it, dangnabbit, I need to find me a message-board host thinger.... or something to that effect!

What sort of RP are you planning "Show up and interact with whoever's there" or "post messages and wait for responses"?

Probably the second one, simply because I don't expect it to be popular enough for people to be hanging around all the time. XD Then again, with the second option there'll always end up being that /lag/, where people get slower and slower with responding until they eventually don't post at all (have seen this aaaaaaall the time! XD) so I'm not sure about that as a viable option, either. X3 Maybe I'll just.. I dunno. Make a character database like the FDRP for everyone who sends in a sheet (and artwork? X3) and let them have at a message board, and lead some kind of email/whatever RP for anyone interested in ongoing plots...

Phe, Gayle? Pointers? XD (All I know is not to plot /too/ much or else everything stops!)

From my experience with message based RPs you more or less need a leader or other member who's willing to prod people into posting if it's been too long or who can find ways around lack of posting if someone's just completely uninspired. But it's your RP so you can decide how to run it!

I just want to be included when you do get it up and running...

I am so utterly icked out by the wing back jacks, but I have no idea why XD; It's a neat idea, but the thought of having holes in the back just.. egh o_o;

The ref sheets themselves ae awesome, though ^_^ I just love how you draw wings!

XD! Think of them more like mouths, then? They're not... like open wounds or anything, they kind of close up when not working. ^^; Sorry to ickify you, though! I'll remember to put up warnings if I post anything back-jack-y in the future.

Thanks, Skysong! *huggins* Now I need to learn how to do wings in action, like you often have on your Samanyrs. :D~~~~

*chuckles* The wings can't be worse then the Matrix plug-in stuff...and that was all over they're bodies. I would rather have one, well, two, on my back then everywhere on me!

*nods* I like it, Dray. The back-jacks are weirdly fascinating for me... I think I want a pair and some wings! *grins* If you ever get anything up for an rp or whatnot, I'll probably join, though I may be slow.

@Yakima: Exactly! XD I don't even know if the matrixy ones close up, or if they're sort of metal-rimmed holes (XP ew), but... yeah, s'what I mean.

If you want to do ref sheets for your wolves I'd be more'n happy to see what you post! It makes it ten bajillion times easier if you want to do an art trade with someone! XD

@Sil: I... don't remember! I remember that /some/thing made her grossed out, but I can't remember what. XD probably that, then. Meep!

@Skysong: ...that sounds so wrong, too. XD I suck at explaining things... but yeah, I guess that that's close enough. ^^;

XD It's not the idea of them, or even the design, but yes, the back-jacks do gross me out a little XD It's a weird thing I have with certain patterns, and those just fall into that same niche ^^' I just don't look at the little dots too closely, and we're all good

... I'm so weird >.> I can't think of a single other person in the world who gets grossed out by patterns XP

Now I really want to do ref sheets too...but I have no idea what characters to make them for...and if I work on art at all I need to get my exchange dragon done...mrph...
