Nexus Universial Sizes - Problem?

I've come up with a slight problem with the universal nexus sizes.
I think...

With the upcoming database system, how is someone suppose to know if medium is for the feet or meters measurement. A medium dragon in feet is a VERY different size next to a medium dragon in meters. Now, i might be confused just based on what I'm seeing. I altered the charts JKat created by taking the feet length and converting it to meters but that still dosn't really work.

Is there a way to unify this more? I created a chart that converts a given size to a USM (universal size measurement...) but I think we may need to unify that and choose one way to measure...length or height. Maybe pick meters or feet as the base size or something and go from there?

... What..? Jkat gives the sizes in both feet and meters. There is no problem.

If you mean length versus height, I am making the assumption that the measurement given is height at the shoulder.

In any case, I do agree with the previous comment that we should choose one measurement method and stick with it. I've always been a fan of shoulder-height -- seems to be less varied than length, at least to some degree.

Dude, ANYTHING can be turned into a generator of some sort. It just depends upon how much time you want to sink into something.

O.O This program merely confuses me! I usually find shoulder-height the most helpful, but that's biped bias speaking.

I usually combine the solid number of height at shoulder with the USC designation for that size on my pages - I don't think I've ever used the length designation except for some where they're extremely long compared to height.
