I love how you've gone through all of your mutation in the past in order to write them into your code, this is just awesome. I've saved a copy of the PDF in case I breed any dragons that I get from you. If you happen to update to a newer version, please let me know -- I'd love to save a new copy.
You are welcome. I will let you know. I might have had it tweaked a bit since I posted that though. If you see anything that might warrant a tweak or dosn't feel like it fits/works well, feel free to let me know. I've ran a few simulated clutches and it should work well enough.
I'll have to do a few tests to see what it's like. How does this hook in with your universal code so far? I'd love to try to get some universal code toggles set up for my mutts because I think this system's pretty detailed.
I think i always had them as more of a separate code...where the creator kinda decided the recessive and dominate traits for a species. *shrugs* So far, every code I've created for my species are so different I don't know if there is a way to merge codes into one...it would require a rewrite of a lot of codes though it's probably possible...somehow...
If anything, it'd have to be for the Universal Code. Sort of like an allele for 'inherited X parent's gene. See following rule-set...' or something! Luckily most of the trouble comes from colour-changes, rather than body types!
